I believe it is spelled/pronounced '#'. Not positive, though.

FYI regarding the agent bribe order (#900).

The total gold cost of a bribe includes the target emissary's cost along with the agent's cost. However, since the order checker program only has access to your previous turn's data file, the software has no way of determining the target emissary's location, rank, or even if the emissary exists in the game (since the program only knows what is printed in your previous turn report).

You will need to add the targeted emissary's gold cost yourself when you issue this order. I will add a note to the order checker's bribe message later today to remind people of this matter.

Being limited to the previous turn's data file is also the reason why the software cannot fully verify situations like pop center info (to include food/gold from a conquered pc), regional boundary checks (for priestess heal or wizard spells), certain artifact orders (receive an artifact from a trade with another kingdom), stealing gold from a pc, ...etc. So there are quite a few things that the order checker cannot verify due to being limited to the previous turn's report.

Something else to note: Multiple issuances of 385 for the same emmy should only deduct from the treasury once since (I believe) the cost is only subtracted for a successful escape.

Also, you should look into if 385 needs to compute for the emmy cost. I believe it doesn't since the commands only list a bribe cost, but this may not be so.

Also, I believe I can fly.

Please send all concerns and new ideas for the order checker to Support so that Cipher can let me know how the program should officially work. For example, if no gold cost is currently being deducted by the game for a failed escape attempt then it could mean that you found a bug in the game instead of a change for the order checker program. Only Cipher knows the difference...

While Jumbie is touching the sky, or 'this guy' (mixed musical references, oooh), everyone should note that 385 only has a cost if you add a bribe amount in column B, which is consumed whether the order is successful or not, and for every issuance of the order.

385 with no bribe has no cost. Emissary costs have been associated with maintaining an entourage representative of the emissary's rank. Not much of an entourage to keep up whilst sneeking away from a dungeon...

I am aware that the online order validator program is not handling turn 30 reinforcements (as game 143 just found out) but I have a request in Support about it and I'll update the software whenever I receive the necessary information. Sorry if it ruined your turn...

Thanks, Unclemike! I think one important thing to consider is that the online order entry's tracking of food and gold is an aid... but one that shouldn't automatically replace doing our own calculations. One thing I typically do is compare my own total at the end of the turn with what the validation comes back with. If there's a difference I can't explain, something is amiss... either on my end or the validation's. Generally easy enough to track down because of the line-by-line report we get when we validate orders. It's not without its (very minor) flaws... but I think everyone would agree that it has definitely helped all of us a lot!
