Apparently, that might be a valid strategy. I had never considered it. All of the battles where. I was surprised turned out badly.

Exactly why this might not be a good strategy. I think its hard to tell where the damage by phase is going to fall and how that lines up with retreat %s. Foregoing the ability to have ANY kind of influence over this with a tactical selection seems to be a risky strategy, as opposed to leaving it to fate. I expect a different spell selection by the Giant might have resulted in a different outcome for the AN group.

On the other hand, if the player has enough experience with combats and the kingdom he is playing, valuing that order with other kingdom needs is certainly something that leaders throughout history have likely been faced with.

Dave, cheers to you!

Yeah, that GI is pretty smart and well positioned with RD artillery.

With the addition of the GI/RD The AN has now exceeded the 3 active enemies they can declare and should likley start to negotiate our surrender.

We will attempt to soldier on for a bit though...

Well the last game I fought the RD it reminded me more of napalm so I suppose airforce would be more accurate.

Evidently it takes 2 army groups of shock and awe to take out a handful of old aged humans. We Ancients must appear to be much more frightening than we give ourselves credit for.
