New Anonymous Steel
#1
Received Rick's permission to post this.

This is a new anonymous Steel game, twelve players, standard turnaround time.

Once we have twelve people posting interest here, we will close signups and only at that time, we will e-mail support with our ranked list of choices.  (This is to make it easier for support, so that everyone's choices are clustered close in time together.)

Will this be a Rex format or SVC eligible?

It's a good question, legitimate for choosing strategy and so kingdoms.  A Rex game would generally favor the military kingdoms or those with a powerful court.  A game with the new secret victory conditions opens other avenues, adds intrigue.  Don't forget, there is a High Priestess order to divine the Secret Intentions of a kingdom.  It's not likely a player in a leading position would be blindsided, not to mention, even without the divination, all the possible SVC's are posted, not coming out of the blue and unbalanced.

Maybe I'm a little sensitive about the SVC thing.  I know, I have said, it was broken in NC.  I think it repaired now, that we will not be seeing lots of secret victories and not before turn 25, etc.   If we do, I don't think it bad if a number of kingdoms win that way.  I think it makes Alamaze better.  Simple answer, yes, Secret Victory Selection by end of Turn 3 is in play.
