You can see a brief description, colorful image, which kingdoms can hire each kind of Companion, the requirements to retain each Companion type, the limit per group for each Companion type, the brigade ratings for each phase of combat and its defense rating, the special ability for each Companion. Additionally, there are charts at the end of the document that summarize brigade ratings and provide all the special abilities including for Recruited brigades, and Summoned brigades.
Remember no Companion brigade can be hired before turn 4, and Companions must be hired in the wild, ie, not in an area with a PC or Unusual Sighting.
