Some of you might see the frustration here. In Game 5624, someone dropped because 2 folks attacked at once. Here I am with 6 attackers and none of whom I attacked. And all 4 of the current attackers are the bottom 4 in the game for status points so that really just helps the 2nd and 3rd place players, and none are landing at the same place ever, so there you have it. I realize I have been gone from Alamaze for a bit, so thanks for the team welcome back.  And the FT taking multiple pop centers is not in line with the previous advertisement.

I think I only took one pop center from you, yes? The other belonged to the EL when I moved on it.

And there you have it Rick, the forum is this games downfall. A guy complaining about others playing the game the same as we always do has cost you Rellgar.  Take the human element out of it, explain all the rules clearly and concisely (nice job UM) change the software to simply sign people up for games, and let it roll.  
When a player creates an account, have them taken to a landing page with pre-loaded games they can choose from.  You have done a great job of making new kingdoms, as long as you guys keep the balance at a point that people want to play all kingdoms it may work.

When possible, it seems most people try to prevent the leader from winning outright.  I actually think your problem lies with the new five region to declare victory rule.  The giant typically would have won this game (although I doubt others would have let them get this far if four regions was the rule).  Five regions is hard for anyone, and I do not think we will see many victories of that fashion. As a player that prefers wizards, this scenario is perfect, as it keeps warrior kingdoms from stomping all over everyone and declaring victory on T15, which I have seen twice.  Of course, I know what would happen if I had started in untamed as the Necro….gone on T4. We all take risks in selecting kingdoms, it is the beauty of the game.

I have to disagree with the point that people go after the leading player.  In the championship game it became apparent brekk was going to run away with it.  I made some mistakes and wasn't even able to hold on to lord Garth's capital for long.  Lord garth never even lost control of his region.  Despite this, Dupont and habeus Corpus both double teamed me even they both had borders with brekk and neither was a contender for winning themselves.  It would make sense to go after the leader but that doesn't seem to be a consistent motivation.
