PS. Mr. Warlock, that was not the brightest of moves. We'll be seeing you soon.
Sweet postcard GN. It's heating up down south here but I hear the weather is comfortable in Diamond land. Those gems can even be traded for gold but the place lacks a major city.

We regret to inform you (and your queen) that birthing a Demon Prince isn't quite the same as birthing a lowly Gnome. It is a glorious experience but not everyone survives unfortunately. I have been thinking of a suitable name for the little bastard - perhaps "Little Pinky" is most appropriate and will bring some knowing smiles to those he meets.

Mr. Lizard,
Let's try that again, shall we? Double the payment next turn for the HC as well.

Sounds good. I'll take the food if it is still available.

Sure. I'll have to see what I have next turn, assuming you still want to do the hostage this turn? Or would you prefer food this turn? Let me know.

WTE,
It is with great sorrow that I have to inform you of the loss of one of my governors to a mob of roughnecks. The condition of Bronze Canyon is such that it is barely considered fair compensation. We are still trying to find anything that resembles a printing press. The best we can find are random scratchings on some 2ply that appear to be a cry for help and 'actual leadership'. Accordingly, we send this missive without the normal accompanying postcard. We have sent word to Blackfire to see if they can produce one in a timely fashion. I do know how you look forward to them.
How goes the war? It seems the DE has managed to "poop out" his own p7. Do we know where his capital is? Have you searched the water squares? I can dedicate some resources to the effort but don't want to duplicate. Sorry to hear about your village. I was saddened to have to gift it to you in trade and further saddened when Mr. Prince and his War-ish-lock ally decided to remove it from the board.

Mr. War-ish-lock,
You know how you do something and you feel like you got away with it, and then you have that feeling when you're caught of "oh no, I've done a bad thing..."? I'm sure you're having that right now.
Well, now you get to lose your city. Your two groups will, of course, act as minor speedbumps on the way. I could be persuaded to wait a turn to take your city, but it would require a small amount of groveling, a heartfelt apology, you to move your two "armies" away, and your word that no further action will be taken against me and my ally. If those 4 conditions are met in the next, say, 24 hours, I will take your city and nothing more. You can continue to train wizards, make poor ally decisions, and in general just continue to survive.
Do let us know.

W.T.E. - Gnoimish friend
I makes my dark heart soar to here of your conquest at Bronze Canyon. You are certain to improve the place. Both WA and the dastardly Demon continue to pay major attention to my holdings but the do so at a high price. Another Demon Prince died for his effort this turn so that makes 2 along with a regular prince and several WA guest are imprisoned. These fools obviously need food as that seems to be their main focus. Their groups are cowards and run at my approach. My search for the De capital continues but at a slower pace than I would like. If you care to join in the search I would be glad to coordinate with you and tell you where I have already looked.
While the loss of my small outpost in the sunny land of Zamora saddens my I laugh at the fact that it was an empty shell with no fleets attached and nobody home that cost the WA group at least 3 orders to kill. Mr. Runny Gurth needs a lesson in manners unless he gets smart and accepts your generous terms.
B.t.w., I lost NZ to the Demon prince before he died on my blade. It has a great climate for mushrooms.
Well Tanned Elf - every once in awhile I need to spell it out or someone will ask.
