Although I won my first game back from a 30 year absence (you might recall this as the "military kingdom Halfling" game), it was in 2019, and I think doesn't count.

So I have 3 wins and 13 points (3 1st, 2 2d).

I'm fine with random region (not a random draft order), then pick kingdom based on point order. That way there is some advantage for more points, but not kingdom AND region.

 and "dibs" system sounds fine, too. This gives some advantage to a player who's done well with a particular kingdom.

This seems like a good system that balances many concerns. Therefore, I withdraw the "Pine Needle" system ably advocated for by my past and future ally trading partner and good person, Painted Man.

DO NOT start picking, but after you pick your kingdom, you will return all your remaining "dibs" to the "POOL" and they will become available to the players below you.

This will change if players opt out!

Step 1) verify 12 players
Step 2) randomly assign regions
Step 3) choose kingdoms

If there are no major concerns, comments, moans, groans, bitches, complaints, I will start a new thread tomorrow with the goal of confirming our 12 players.

I suggest you add a couple of alternative players to the bottom of the list as it likely someone from the first 12 will not play.
