We should fix that! Hopefully in a game where I'm a better teammate that my last one, where I continue to be abysmal.
I can vouch that Strongwill is a fine companion. Also the bestest cheer leader ever. Lol Why don’t we get this thing going?

Speaking of getting things going... how about this championship game? Other than Brek, PTreily, wookie, UM and me, I don't think anyone has commented, unless it was about which color of crayons taste best.
So, let me propose the following options to get us going here:
1) Tell that Senior Tactician to go pound sand, let vball do it however he wants.
2) Let Senior T create a system as discussed here, based on player performance, not kingdom performance.
3) Ask UM and senior to create a "qualifier" system, which will lead to a championship game later.
4) something else.
Please vote.
As for the "something else" here is a suggestion: We have the championship the way I suggested, with the top finishers based on wins, then second place finishes, always using total points as tiebreaks... and we also have a championship runnoff, for anyone else. When these two games complete, the top three players from each game will compete in a confed game for Supreme Alamaze God.
By the way, by beating Painted and draugr and dupont and vball and brek in a confed game recently (see the write-up in Valhalla), I consider myself the current Alamaze God... just so you guys know... Have I mentioned this legendary win before?

Lol I’m in for 2 or 3.. and if no one has noticed a lot of new players are only new to Maelstrom, just about all were studs in 2nd cycle Valhalla page, if they are the same folks. So I might like going against some of them down the road

I'm for options 1, 2, and 4.
In further detail:
1) Pound sand, ST. I'm still smarting from when you crushed me in the confeds game as well as the RD vs. TY battle. Pound it repeatedly.
2) Sure, this sounds fun. No real concern as to how we do this, but would be good to have people, once decided, go into a random generator and be free to choose whomever (not tied to a kingdom and not randomly thrown into a region).
4) Once #2 is determined, let Pine Needle assign everyone kingdoms and regions, subject purely to his whim.

Can I vote for all of the above?
If I have to choose just one it's option 2.
I don't really want to play multiple championship games. It could take 6 months to get the champ.

So your vote is for 3? Lol I only ask because I know how difficult it is for you to count to four.. j/k

I'm anti-3, but mostly due to timing. By the time we run through qualifiers, etc. we're doing the championship for 2020 in the middle of 2021.
I have people to count for me, anyways.

If I choose the championship roster... it will be thus (tie-break points in parenthesis):
Painted 6 wins (30 points)
Pine 4 wins (13 points)
Acererak 3 wins (15 points) tied with wookie
Wookie 3 wins (15 points)
UDS 3 wins (13 points)
Draugr 3 wins (11points)
Senior 2 wins (10 points)
Brek 1 win (8 points)
Agent 1 win (3 points)
Vball 2 2nd place finishes (6 points)
Dupont 2 2nd place finishes (4 points)
Strongwill 1 2nd place finish (5 points)
To fill slots if people opt out:
Unclemike, Rellgar and Habeous all have a second place finish with 3 total points. I will have to devise a status point solution to this.
I will double check this before we begin.
What I am thinking is we pick kingdom based on this order, Painted picking first... BUT, many players have "scored the highest" with certain kingdoms, and have thus called "dibs". So, for instance, UDS has the best score with the UN, so, while Painted must choose first, he can't choose the UN (or any other kingdom that someone has "dibs" on). After a player chooses his kingdom, he gives up all "dibs" and those kingdoms become available to anyone choose after them.
That way, even a player who has "dibs" with a "weak" kingdom is not tied to that kingdom, and will have a very broad range of kingdoms to choose from.
This pays tribute to the best performing players (who get to pick early) AND doesn't screw the lower guys, as more and more kingdoms will become available as the draft proceeds.
After the 12 people are confirmed, we will randomly assign regions FIRST, so that kingdom choices can be informed. (ie if you get mythgar, don't play the pirate.)
Or... we could just get 12 people and do a double snake like we usually do for a normal game... but I kind of like this way I described, and I think many players want to play the kingdoms that they have "dibs" on.

Although I won my first game back from a 30 year absence (you might recall this as the "military kingdom Halfling" game), it was in 2019, and I think doesn't count.
So I have 3 wins and 13 points (3 1st, 2 2d).
