I think RD can do just fine in ice age. You do not need to build huge armies. Besides undead bats are one of the most efficient units strength to food cost. Have some bats to absorb a bit for the dragons. You can basically take anything from the start because players cannot pay the price to raise fortifications. Also the RD movement advantage extends to emmies. Where others have a rather limited range you can still go much further than others and they use gold to move something you will have enough of just taking stuff to pay for food and your dragon stash giving an extra 20k a turn. Plus starting with so much extra gold you could just raise emmies and influence to become a crazy political power easily if needed.

Well, we could make this a 10-player game but certain kingdoms will have an advantage unless we specify rules (like no one selecting two particular regions upon signup).
