Just a thought here. I am about to lose most of the Army Group while taking most of your Army Group. You have been a fierce opponent and have earned my respect. I know this is late and there might not be time, but I will issue a defend order and move away. If you wish to have a truce and we both respect each others borders (I know I attacked you), then I will agree to a truce and regroup while deciding my next move.
Let our ladies know, and maybe we can have a shindig before we depart for Darkover.
Queen of the Damned.
I'm not following, but maybe that's the idea, not sure. There is no DW in this game. Also, just for my own edification, would this offer not constitute an NAP and is that allowed? I do hope so because Amazons in Darkover sound like a brilliant idea to me, (and would very likely receive all kinds of Warlock support) as the Demon Princes seem a little bit hesitant to leave my islands.
OK not only are there no DW, Ashgar, you are playing the UN... Think this is in the wrong thread maybe? Or am I completely nuts?
Hahahahaha wrong thread. I will go post in the correct one. Too funny. My apologies for my split personality.
Ashgar the Bloodthirsty.
My blood, your blood, what difference does it make!
Time will tell.................

Seems we are council buddies. Perhaps we can agree to just bid 500 for our issues and let luck determine who gets it. Any new members could join us as well. I think in long run would pay better than fighting for issue rights.
i will bid 5000 as well.
Why 5000 and not 500. Perhaps I am a dragon that just likes his gold to much.

I have a town in your region I would like to keep, let me know if you care to deal. As for moving troops into my region to train your troops, practice on your own villages : A town in a region with only 3 is a big ask coming from someone with 5 towns in their own region, what are you willing to offer What do you propose ? OK, I'm going to guess since 6 of your ships now decorate the bottom of my sea, they are intended only as merchant vessels and not an invasion fleet. If that is all you are looking for, a port for merchant vessels, then perhaps a deal is possible. However, it will not be my only water town. So, here is my deal:
1) You reorganize 4DE to zero brigades so I can walk in and claim my town this turn, I've been delayed long enough. (and I wont sink 3 more of your ships)
2) I'll give you the location of a water village in region 3 you may use for your merchant activities.
3) I'll take a village in region 2 for training trolls. Don't worry, I'll choose it. My HP will have your PC locations just as soon as you claim your region.
4) I wont spend the game plundering and causing famine in region 2. In fact, you might find your region becoming more "bountiful" if we are still on good terms around turn 10.
See you at sea

If we are agreed I will set my bids going forward to 500. If we are not going to set it low there is no point in trying to fix and save money and I will rely on random bidding, but prefer the former.

See you at sea I reached out early to you about my PC in an effort to come to an agreement, you chose to just try take the PC you can easily just say hell no get out if thats what you want, but you never "got back to me" , so, and there sits the troops. my intention is merhcant activities alone, but I do understand your concern, again why I reached out earlier.
1. Moving the 4DE can be done if we reach a deal.
2. Yes this would seal the deal for #1
3. I will choose the village but yes seems a fair trade
4. Prefer 1 to 2 at such an early stage of growth for both of us but demons were built for war if that is whats needed.
So we havent started out as good neighbors, so lets start building some fences, here is what I propose.
1. I will tax and leave the water town this turn simply provide the village location, or simply say no deal and I will make a decision based on that as well.
2. I will raise merchant ships but only at the lowest level so as not to be threatening.
3. Once I have my region sorted out I will give you a village to plunder away with as you please - it will be near your border.
4. I will reduce your reaction levels in my region to suspicious any raising beyond that I will consider an act of war, and would expect the same from you in your region.
5. Definitely have interested in bounty spells in the future for a price of course.
Let me know.

Let me know. OK, I'll accept some responsibility... but looking at it from my perspective, you can't exactly expect me to expect you to say something like "Yeah, I want to keep that town as a base to launch the annihilation of the Warlock
So, I sort of have to assume some amount of nefariousness, especially from demons.
In any case, your new village will be 3 diagonal moves north-west (use the sea north of your town for merchants, I'll stay south for mine... do overlapping merchants even fight?). I will not issue the attack order on 4DE this turn, and will not take offence to any denegrations in region 2. (But I would not waste the order to denigrate, the reason to use a PC in someone else's region is that capturing/taxing/capturing/taxing reduces RR very quickly.)
If you sea-move 4DE off (710), rather than reorganize the group (235), it delays me a turn in moving an emissary (350). I suppose I can live with that, just confirm which you are doing and I will adjust orders accordingly. (actually don't worry about it, if you tax it, it should flip in a turn or 2. thanks)
Glad we worked it out.

Anyway, how about we send you 21k gold on turn 5.
To confirm, we shall levy additional tribute from the faithful this turn, and you will "send" 21k gold next turn as compensation. Your horde plus 1k for good measure, it seems. We understand that we shall have to trade as we are not allies.
So wrote our fore-mothers:
"A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head. She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth. Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven crows on its head. Its tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth. The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that it might devour her child the moment she was born. She give birth to a daughter, a female child, who 'will rule all the nations with an iron scepter'. And her child was snatched up to God and to Her throne. The woman fled into the wilderness to a place prepared for her by God, where she might be taken care of for 1,260 days.
Then war broke out in heaven. God and Her angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. The great dragon was hurled down - that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to earth, and his angels with him."
-Revelations 12:1-9
We hope you are not the red dragon they speak of, but we know our faith will act as shield and spear when called upon.

That must be 5 or 600 years ago. Clearly a Zomora Red Dragon thing to do. We are much more efficient. We would have eaten the mother before birth to save time and of course we tend to fry our foods. We do not really have much taste for fatty humans.
