A few things to various peoples for discussion.
Mr. Warlock, we are set to begin this turn yes? I had to sell some of my less-promising children to finance it, but I am a go at 70k gold for a single chicken nugget.
Mr. Gnome, I may be interested in the ring you speak of. Name the price. I would be willing to do the minimum 10k and grant you my vote as well because... despite my desire to see the world burn you’re alright. At least a 6 out of 10.
All, what repercussions or sanctions would we impose against kingdoms that broke the stated rules regarding forum-only communication and engaged in a trade not mentioned on the board here?
So my bud called me right before the turn was due and wanted a bit of gold to finish of his orders and offered to sell me a wowie totem for 19k I did it, we didn't list it in the forum. no need to consider punishment, I'll just drop the game.
No don’t drop, that messes a game up. Just make sure we follow the rules of each game. We have full diplomacy games and you can talk in forum/ and email or even call each other. But not on this game We can learn and not repeat actions. This isn’t the Soviet Russia, we can forgive and move forward.

Not asking you to drop the game, but I do think it is important to enforce the rules. I get that it was last minute, but we all play with time constraints. Again, don't know what the answer is here but it is pretty crap.

I'm The Painted Man and I support this message.
Also for the record, this is one reason why I think all games should be completely open diplomacy and leave it to the players if they want to engage in it.

Unlike PT, I think we should string him up by his toes and pull his nose hairs out one at a time.......... No seriously, PT nailed it. Just try and remember what the rules are. In this situation, a simple comment on the forum of that call and what was decided would have made it public and for me would have satisfied the rules. Yes, I prefer all communication to happen on the board, but many of us do know each other and as long as we are staying true to the spirit of the rules, then it is all good. The idea is to be fair to all the other players in the game. So for the record, which kingdom sold the Wowie Totem?????? Once that is disclosed, then it is no different than it being discussed here on the forums.

I checked support and more than one game was dropped. If I remember Ry Vor's advice on this, if you have an issue with someone in a game, please contact support FIRST and let Rick handle it. When players accuse each other of cheating, it gets emotional and people not only drop games but also leave Alamaze. So let's remember what Rick said about all of this and first contact support of any concerns then he'll take it from there...

I couldn’t agree more. a simple mistake called out in here could sound like a personal attack on someone’s integrity. Let support handle it or if you know them email them your concern, I for one have no issue with a 1on 1 discussion But support keeps from being personal on either side.

That is unfortunate. The fact that they dropped other games is even worse. Sorry if something I said was too much. I spoke my mind and I am blunt. That probably wasn't well received. Uncle Mike's point is taken well and I will try to remember that for the future.
