Just officially. You can start a new persona if you have guilt pangs, or remorse, or something worse. But you need a new email address - only one per persona.
Off target mainly, but - I do think in the next release, God and Uncle Mike willing, we will have an in-game limited diplomacy. Ambassadors (and up) and generals can conduct diplomacy when in contact with the target kingdom. I'm a little disappointed in myself it took this long to come up with a solution.
So next is exactly what messages can be sent.
