How fare the Barbarian Hordes? Whenever you want your Gov let us know. He no longer responds adequately when we Gate into his room in the middle of the night. Quite boring for a Barbarian actually.

How goes your war?   Can we trade after this turn. (7 orders) say how much and I’ll put order in.  Also do you want to seal our border with an alliance vow? If so that too can be done on T7.

CI-AN I can make that artifact for gold trade next turn. (7 orders) let me know, the comfort of knowing your not at risk of not waking in the morning is well worth the gold Smile.

My seagoing neighbor.  Your control of a certain town on the Tempest Sea was delayed by our old folks taking control of the region on the same turn that DW taxed it for you to take over.  At least that is how it seems as all of the neutrals fell to us at the same time and it had gone neutral.  Of course this was inadvertent on our part but you are still missing the income and I feel compelled to do the right thing and make it up to you.
The current income is diminished as winter has set in.  It is generating only 883 food and 4543 gold until spring turns arrive.  How about I give you 5k gold for each of the winter turns and I will double that if you do not take it until a spring turn.  So take it at your convenience, by any means that works for you.  If you can let me know when that will be during one of the communication turns I'll respond immediately with a trade of gold for 1 food.  Sound fair?  I would prefer that I don't tax it as it would lower my reaction level.

PI-AN: Understood. The DW was too eager to divest himself of the population! I will delay taking it until the spring. I'll move in on Turn 9 with the expectation that I will flip it on turn 10 and also on that turn, we can negotiate a fair exchange.

PI-AT: We have left your trading port alone, as you will note. However, we would also like to expand our trading routes. Would you be so kind as to consider letting us have a minor trading port in The Sorrows? In addition to continuing to allow you to trade in our seas, we will gift you 10,000 gold as soon as you wish.

That sounds fine Captain.  I was hoping with your experience you would see exactly what happened.  I will plan on sending you a wagon load of gold on turn 9 and our accountants can be talking to each other.

My stalwart friend.  If you want to sell the artifact you mentioned kindly send a pigeon with the sacred number and I will send 10,000 gold.  It you want to hold it for awhile that's even better as I will have twice as much gold in the spring when this dreaded winter is over.   The elders do not enjoy snow sports!

DW - PI We Dwarves do not do well on the water. The whole time we had it all we did was have nightmares of drowning in our sleep.
