Yes. All is well on this end. We had a minor setback related to exploring a certain cave where our dimwitted General led his troops there, ordered his wizards to cast their defensive spells, and then left without exploring it. Other than that we simply sit back and build.

Our Consuls have been busy using their talents to search the world. By the end of this month, we will have 12 of the 13 known regions fully mapped. Should you require directions anywhere you can simply give me the name of one of your holdings as a reference point I can provide you with directions.

It seems our neighbors to the south continue their war. From what we can see the Tyrant still rules Mythgar with an iron fist while the Druid is making a valiant effort to repel him in The Untamed Lands. It appears that the TY is getting close to taking control. We will need to open discussions with him related to his plans. For his troops and emissaries are moved so far East, it will be difficult for him to expand anywhere except into Pellinor or Nyvaria. We have spent the last few turns preparing our defenses and making our lands very inhospitable to him.

To our North, it seems that much of the fighting has also spread into The Diamond Coast.

BL-LI: One of your low-level agents got swept up in our dragnet when we took a recent town. We really don't have any use for him and don't mind returning him, but as we'd be using an order to do so, we'd need 4000 to cover the Create Gold spell that we'd be otherwise casting with that order.

PI-BL: Greetings my winged neighbor. How do you feel about a more formal friendship with the Jolly Pirates?

BL-PI: I would welcome that. As you probably know, I am busy fighting the CI, who foolishly chose West when they looked at a direction to expand. So obviously I have no designs on you. We could become allies and put your Trick of the Trade to use.

(PI) How goes the war? Does he have any assistance?

Would it be ok if we trade after our summer is over.  We can discuss again after the silent period.   Our golds are used up this turn in preparations of summer.

NO - CI
I sent the gift last turn that we had previously agreed to but you sent nothing in return.  I'll need 30k food and 50k gold to re-balance our trades.  If you want to set something else up for our non communication turns please post it here.

Yes, that's fine. He can enjoy the fair lands of Darkover as our guest for the next three months.

It's going well enough from my perspective. It's a one-on-one battle, which is fair. I would rather have had a few turns to build before getting involved in a conflict, but I guess he was boxed in by us and the AN and figured it was to his advantage to attack sooner rather than later. He sieged my capital, which gave me enough time to build some escape tunnels and build up my backup capital, so it didn't really cost me anything. And from what I hear, he's had trouble meeting his trading commitments, so that's gotta be interesting.
