We are close, share a border and have opposite seasons.  We have no Tricks of the Trade bonus but if you just seek someone to trade seasonally with I am of course open to discussion.

Sounds good

King of the Sands. We've discovered Vonna Glenn and would like to move on it to consolidate the region. There are not many pop centers in The Crown Islands. I am open to offering you compensation as necessary as I don't wish to come to blows over it.

I believe I had opened the door on this discussion in the previous talking phase.  How about this:   For the town you seek grant me a village of your choice that I might have some income from both seasons.  I would also like to be able to do mercantile missions safely on the southern most area of the sea of forgotten.  I know we have winter coming so we could delay the swap of the village until after the winter turns.  Obviously you want the town a.s.a.p.   How about I double tax it on turn 5?   Just let me know if this sounds acceptable or if you have a counter offer.

Seems you’d get two things and I’d get one. How about this: I take the town and you give me a village in Krynn. In return I allow mercantile and give you a village in 1.

We can do that.  You can find a village to take at Hero's Environment.  I'm taking it this turn as it was human.  You will have to let me know where your village is and when you want to do this so I can tax the town.  Time is getting short to talk as many players are ready.

It is VERY early.  Perhaps we should all see how things look when next we can openly discuss.

Of the two interested in an alliance with me I think the AN sounds most interesting.  being on my boarder and having special abilities that could greatly aid when stuff starts to hit the fan.

I am fine to wait but with winter coming during the next silent times arrangements could be made to keep you fed if needed.

Great Dragon,

We do appreciate the extended had of friendship and you are for sure not our enemy.   The AN better complements our short comings, where your Honorable kingdom more closely resembles our own.

I appreciate and agree to the offer of food during the winter. You are certainly not my enemy either.

I might require the town for tight control. Do not count on retaining ownership. Possibly some form of compensation can be worked out, although I would think someone capable of destroying 16 brigades this early in the game hardly needs more resources.

We'll need to work something out then because I need the resources of that town. About requiring more, it's not that I'm greedy but by putting everything into wizard development for multiple death spells (c.f. other forum post on how to do so), I'm rather one-dimensional right now. I'm not quite there yet because I've spent some on getting the city for early control of the region but I'll be ready with deaths when the Tyrant arrives. About needing additional resources, with a tiny region like Zamora, I need more to develop other aspects like buildings, fleets, etc. and I'm behind everyone else searching for artifacts. I don't like being one-dimensional like this and haven't played in a year so I'm a bit agitated right now. The Tyrant's rude comments didn't help his case. Regarding the town, its census is rather low, only 25,909, but if you really need it, I'll need a gold gift of 50,000 (of which nearly half is paid by your dragon's lair of which you got for free so really just 30,000 actual cost) and let me tax it beforehand. I think that's reasonable but it's up to you.

NO - PI   Pirate friend, if you want to proceed with this I'll need to hear from you soon so we don't hold up the turn.  Just send me a village location.  I'll tax the town on turn 5 and you can take it.  We can do the village swap at the same time and you will have extra income for the winter.

Our planning has allowed us to prepare for winter.  We likely will not be able to build mighty structures but our people shall be fed.  We have one spare order which we could use to formalize our relationship or we could reposition one of our Consuls to assist you.

Yes let’s formalize our alliance sometime during this silent period.  I would prefer your councils stay as safe as possible.

Ok. To find the village go 4 north and 4 west from your town in region 1. Let's plan on you taxing the town on turn 5.
