I noticed the Sorcerer position became unready. How does one do that? I know it says to only hit the Ready button one time. If you hit it again later does it unready you?

I think it only happens if someone takes over the position.

I have not approached your pop center in the sword coast. I understand that a pop center in the south would be of benefit during the long winter season. My kingdom does not have a pop center in the north. You mentioned an arrangement?
