I noticed that the southern Kingdoms are the ones that have not been conquered yet.  Is the 1 turn of summer the reason for the delay or is it something more?

LI, I can only speak for Mythgar.  The hidden city slows things down a little.  Then the change in difficulty for a political conquest slowed me down by a turn.  As a military kingdom I needed to take some towns via military, but did not realize this immediately.  I took my region on turn 5.  I should of had it on turn 4.

LI Turn 5 results: I took the region this turn. I immediately went to tight control and Loyal. I guess the regional reaction bonus for taking the region works.

My second group acquired armor. The order seems to have worked. The group has the armor symbol and I did not get an error. The stats of the group dont seem to have changed. I guess this is correct as we normally dont see defensive stats. I will add weapons to this group on turn 6.

I enamored Zamora to tolerant, I will enamor again on turn 6 then ask the DA to declare me an ally to check the Friendly to Loyal question.

On turn 6 I will send a group into the untamed lands to test the 50% cost of recruiting.

Would anyone on the southern half care to test the trades?  I could use a few food and am willing to pay a little over the open market rate, say 4 gold for 10 food.  I would like to get at least 10000 to get through the winter and would be glad to trade food back in the summer.  Ally and gifting gold is also an option as I have the T.O.T.

Li, I just noticed this. The defense of the POP centers in the region I control, only in my controlled region, went up. Is this a bonus of controlling the region? I could not find this in the release notes.

Thanks gk.  I really don't need much.  I just want to test the trade orders and T.O.T.  How about 4000 gold from me for 10000 food from you?  That should get me through the winter turns as I am close to being able to do a bounty spell.  If you need food in the summer I will take care of that.  If you want to do gold gifts back and forth we would have to ally.  I have a lot more orders than I can afford to use at the moment.

I got tight control but stayed at friendly.  gkgetty, did you go to loyal automatically when you got tight control?

I went from not having control and friendly to tight control and Loyal.  A bonus to taking control of the region is advancement one reaction level.  Going from friendly to loyal was due to me taking control and since I had tight control it took me to Loyal.

cool I wanted to know if it works that way as well.  

GK would you be ok with me proposing council issue to lower your reaction for test since you are already loyal?  council seems most reliable way since 477 and denigrate are not automatic normally.
