Hi, I order defend, he attacked my group, so in the end I was able to break the siege. But there is still doubt in this. PTRiley believe I must attack to break siege. Draugr thinks defend is enough and the sieging group must attack my group so he could siege. I really would like UM to clarify.

UM did clarify with his link. Draugr is correct. The burden is on the attacker to make all groups owning the pop center to retreat (unless they are hidden or invisible).

So I just found a Quest Encounter 1st time. What should I expect?

Exspect it to be very hard and to lose a leader.

Approach on a 1 and don't waste your wizard actions. It will simply tell you the number of the artifact you have to find in order to attempt the quest. For instance, usually need a Key to get a Staff or big weapon. I am assuming you don't have the Key in that group. Whole different answer if you have that. If you have the Key, see the guide to your chances of success.

Allows more recruiting of troops. Recruiting sucks the people out of a town or city and eventually you can't recruit any more.
