I don't know how the 3rd cycle testing went, but I'd be happy to post my turns after our games so that the testers can review and comment on things that worked, didn't work...etc.

We can create a google drive or dropbox just for the testers to put all of the turns and provide a time period for everyone to review and give feedback and suggestions.

Do you guys like that idea?

BTW: While I like the look of the map, can I recommend that you have a "great" desert separating the kingdoms. Currently, the deserts are at the far corners, and that disadvantages the nomads and ancient ones, who recruit and have a terrain advantages in the desert. The recruitment being the key point. In addition, the natural barrier would likely increase the time to marshal forces and make a "rush" attack less likely which is better for new players. Finally, turning the south sea into a bay would encourage the creation of fleets to shortcut across the water instead of walking around it and lead to more fleet action.

You need to remove your name and account number before posting or someone could potentially hack your turn...

The nice thing about this new Duel format is that you're playing against someone at your same level of experience (or better if you prefer). So the players control that factor in the game before it starts and newbies are no longer beat on by the more experienced players.

Also, this Duel format prevents other kingdoms from aiding your foe which is a bit unfair in those diplomacy games when you're trying to defeat a superior opponent by yourself for the challenge. Anyway, I think Ry Vor has come up with a gem in creating this two-player Duel format. It's faster to setup a game between players, cheaper than a regular game, and should be fun to play!!

Since I want to experience what it's like starting from both sides of the map, I'll take the Lizard Folk as my second game. Anyone want to beat up on me Smile

Good point. I can remove the first page from every turn. That said, it's just vets on this thread and I've probably shared turns with most of them Wink

Well, it's not only about protecting our identity, I also wanted testing to be as real as possible for evaluating the gameplay of this new Duel format. Sure, we're testing some things regarding the website and software to handle a smaller map without seapower/council but I also want everyone to play the game as if it counted for real. So posting our turns after the game is over is ok but not while the game is currently running...
