Initial Signups for The Choosing

Especially players who have not had exposure to the test games, please do take the time to get familiar with all the new aspects you are presented with.  You'll especially want to get to know the Traits, both for you and opposing kingdoms, how recruiting has changed, both at PC's and in the wild with Companions, new spell lists with 22 new spells, new artifacts are in play.  Several new kingdoms have new interesting diplomacy avenues.

Even with a lot to absorb 2x/week should still be default.

I am still not certain you have wrapped your mind around how players detest that 6 day turn around?

We're pleased that we have launched the first four games of Alamaze 3rd Cycle: The Choosing, over the past two days.  It has been two years of hard work to get to this exciting point.  Each of the first four games was in a different format:

  • #507  1st Full-On diplomacy
  • #508  1st Alliance Victory
  • #509  1st Anonymous
  • #510  1st Primeval

Thanks for all the support and enthusiasm and patience as we undertook this journey.

Good hunting!

I am constantly learning new stuff about Alamaze. I am sure that I didn't even learn all I needed to know in 2nd Cycle. I ahve so much to learn.

For the record, I find this comforting. Thanks.

Please do not take any of my comments as a personal insult or as a criticism of the game 'Alamaze', which I very much enjoy. Rather, I hope that my personal insight and unique perspective may, in some way, help make 'Alamaze' more fun, a more successful financial venture, or simply more sustainable as a long-term project. Anyone who reads this post should feel completely free to ignore, disregard, scorn, implement, improve, dispute, or otherwise comment upon its content.
