I see you have decided to invade Amberland in force. Perhaps you thought the surprise I have been planning was for you? In truth it is not - and I must admit I am still wed enough to the idea of my surprise to wonder if you might be open to some sort of accommodation? We are the two premier wizards left in Alamaze - the level of destruction we could unleash together would be...orgasmic.

The alternative, of course, would be for me to invoke my defensive pact with the Demon Princes. And if your goal is simply to get into a fight, then that is the alternative you should endorse. I do hope you have a greater imagination than that.

I have no dog in this fight and zero preferences, but I suspect you are someone who, like me, prefers to have more information to make a decision rather than less.

Accordingly, you should know that the reason Eastern Steppes has gone neutral is due to a large-scale Demon Prince invasion.

I wish you well on your decision-making.

I do not require control so can work a deal with you. I would like substantial and am willing to allow you to have the same in Northern mists. And we can move together on the next region. Destroying most everything. I am mostly making liches but plan to have a couple p8s for some city destruction as well.

For no particular reason I'd like to hear from you both on any current RD intelligence. Where his groups are, any agents you know about (I happen to know from a little bird that one of his agents got wiped out last turn), where his current capital is, which pop centers in Synisvania and the Sands are his etc.. I just like to move things around on my little map- no other real reason I'd like to know.

You had me at "Destroying most everything".

The status of Avalon will make dividing up Amberland a bit more challenging as it has a significant population and is currently not under either of our control. It had been owned by the Underworld, but based on missives flying about the realm I suspect it has been taken by the Black Dragons. The simplest method of providing you a substantial presence would be for you to take Avalon, Evanon and a town. It's also a way for us to determine a split without risking exact locations of towns and villages being revealed.

If you prefer not to take Avalon as it involves a third party, let me know and I'll come up with another proposal. And I would be interested in your ideas on gaining me a substantial presence in the Northern Mists.
