Since your hated enemy seems to want to come north, you want to join the party? We not sure if you have one of those treaty things with him or the Old Men. Right now, Big Chief No Fart looking at three kings wanting to fight (not that much fight left in Dark One). Fire Crotch is staying out of it and we not sure about Butterfly Queen. Of course, while Penis Nose is up messing with me, somebody might decide that Runnimde looks nice...hint, hint to anybody listening.

We're saddened to hear that my traditional enemy the Gnome has moved against you, and that the Ancient Ones intends to join them. The Troll has been a force for good and light in Alamaze in the ongoing war against the Dark Lord, who continues to strengthen his arcane powers.
Our stubby legs would have great difficulty making it to Torvale, however I can be of assistance in other ways. I'll contemplate the situation and seek advice from my advisers on how we can best help you with this unfortunate situation. It would be helpful if you could share any information you have of either party.

As promised I wish to start aiding my allies with gold, though must ration my orders carefully. Should either of you be in a position to accept a transfer this month let me know and we'll coordinate details. I must also account for the needs of the Troll and potentially the Black Dragon, whom I wish to befriend.
Regarding the evolving strategic situation and our next moves. The GN has finally entered the fray by moving against my friend Big Chief No Fart, and the Ancient Ones has joined them. If I'm not mistaken you both have treaties with the Gnome, but not the Ancient Ones, correct? It may not be plausible for either of you to enter that fray unless you have some groups that can move longer distances. In any event, perhaps the deteriorating relations between the Giant and Ranger should dictate our next steps. I'm assuming the Warlock and Giant are allies, and any move against the Giant is a move against both.

I sent a rider last month with a message inquiring if you'd accept a peace with our kingdom. War is going to envelop Alamaze quickly and I suspect the lines will be blurred between who will be fighting with whom. I wouldn't be surprised if we find ourselves fighting three or four kingdoms before the end of next summer.
We both have close ties with the Darkelf and Ranger kingdoms and would be hard pressed to get much help from anyone should war ensue between us. I think it makes more sense for us to agree to a NAP and engage in war more advantageous to both of us. I'm already engaged with the Witchlord and wish to assist the Troll against the GN/AN. (Speaking of which, I trust you noted the Troll was kind enough to support you on the Council this month, which was needed to pass your own vote. He is now facing three kingdoms in Torvale and would benefit greatly from help.) If we should settle on peace for a defined period I'd gladly send you 50k gold pieces as a token of my appreciation. I hope the fondness dragons have for gold will help sway you towards peace with the Dwarf.

The Gnome would have you attack me in the Mountains, however I beseech you to look south. I think there is much opportunity and benefit for us to strengthen our ties.
Would you be willing to lease a certain artifact in your possession if you don't have an immediate need for it? I'd be willing to pay generously if you'd consider that. (Say $25k for 2 turns?) Alternatively I'd be willing to trade a weapon artifact if you have a need for one. The artifact I seek to lease or trade for starts with 78.

I offered a general bounty earlier on all wizards excepting those belonging to myself, the Darkelf and Ranger. I'd like to extend this general bounty to enemy agents and will pay your price for any successful assassinations. However, I wish to add the Troll to the list of exclusions. I also intend to request some more specific contracts in the coming months. Also, I'd ask that you provide invoices no less frequently than on a quarterly basis should you wish to take advantage of my offer.

I suspect that, like me, you have been preparing for war, even during this time of peace. The lands east of you are ripe for Elven rule, even as the lands south would be, shall we say, politically challenging due to the power of the Ancient Ones.

Greetings Dear Friends,
The state of our NAPS/alliances is thus:
We are wed to the Noble Ranger's kingdom and are therefore allies forever.
We have a strong alliance with the Doughty Dwarves ... although our NAP technically ends after T25, our history and pronouncements very likely make this a lasting relationship as well.
We have NAPs with the Gnomes and the Warlock until after T25 and with the Black Dragon until after T31. Our NAP with the Black Dragon is void if we attack the Giant ... so in effect, we have a NAP with the Giant as well.
I have not captured your own agreements here. If you would list them as well, we can determine what our best course of action would be.
At this point, we feel that an alliance between the three of us and the Black Dragon and Giant would make the most sense ... but against which enemy?!
These agreements have worked quite well in allowing us the time to develop, but certainly do constrain other action.
