Your pet Dragon is off his leash messing up my lawn. Please call him home, I'm sure the last thing you need is a angry neighbor, I understand you already have problems with your new neighbor in the Eastern Steppes. If you like I can give you the location to the Portal to the Talking Mountains in Runnimede If you would like to redirect your pet there. Yours Frodrich

While we understand and sympathize with you, it would be helpful if you could send us at least a small portion of food. We might be able to soon give the BL plenty of motivation to turn around.

Don't know why I even keep trying? OOC: Respectfully, my friend, not sure what else you could expect? This is public diplomacy, not silent or anonymous, and I think it's expected for a player who's attacked to whine and call for a bit of help. And the delay was called for by a lot of people for Christmas, it was all games, not this one singled out.Regardless, I have every confidence in you. BL should have an advantage over GN, especially this early. You may be able take GN and UN, both, in fact!

From the starting point of the RD village in Oakendell, travel 5 clicks north and 2 clicks west to arrive at a town just begging for your leadership. Best food-producing town in the region and decent gold production.

Don't know why I even keep trying? OOC: I do NOT care about the diplomacy; diplomacy is, indeed, expected. I am only saying it gives the GN a week to convince others for aid instead of three days. I am quite wary (weary?) of expected 3 v 1 (or 6 v 1!) since in 195 (and many other times!) that has happened. I have said for years the 3 v 1 is not a product of whether the victim engages in diplomacy but, instead, a product of the player base seeking help from two or more players against a single opponent. I am confident that most (if not all?) players can count to two. So if a player is coordinating with two or more against a single opponent I have a real problem with those players. So, here, we have GN asking both RD and UN for assistance against a single opponent. I have no problem with the GN requests, of course. But we shall see whether three or more players coordinate against a single opponent. If so . . . You and I have had this discussion in e-mails before, my friend. I do not intend to drag you down this road again. But since this contest is Forum-Only Diplomacy I thought it best to put my thoughts in the Forum instead of an e-mail. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

I'm not prepared to actively join your attack vs the GN (and most likely the UN) but if it becomes a true 3-1 the Endless host of Arcania will consider more strongly joining ranks with you.

I fail to understand why you are upset when I reached out to the UN and RD after you moved into Runnimede. Please let me know what I did in error. I truly want to know what sin I am guilty of. From where I sit (and I could be wrong) it looks like you (The Black Dragon) Is already trading blows with the RD and DW. I was happy sitting out this conflict in Runnimede. I've tried and failed to make many NAP but did make a mutual defense treaty with my Region Mate the UN.The treaty I made with the UN was made on the public forum so I assume you were aware of it when you moved into Runnimede. I understand why you would move into Runnimede after I promised to supply the RD with food and gold for his town in the region, but why am I in the wrong to invoke the mutual defense treaty with the UN? Why do you have an issue with me telling your enemy the RD that you are not in the Sands and his food will not be delivered this turn. I truly want to know. Should I not communicate info of this nature? If you are worried about a 3-1 why would you attack Runnimede if you were already involved elsewhere and then call foul. Matthew GN-301

OOC: Just my opinion, but as I already intimated to LT, I think you are in the clear, Ruingurth.
OK, back to natural enemy in-character sniping (all in good fun).
