The Dwarven Lords of the Talking Mountains

General Roridon was known to be fast with his axe, and faster with his tongue. On his last day it would be the latter that doomed him, for he was too slow to bring up is axe in defense. The King's great axe cleaved through the General's shoulder and down along the spine, separating the right half of his upper body from the rest in a great spray of blood and flesh. The great hall gasped, as King Oban rose over the General, who's astonished face quickly turned pale from death.

"I know well the frustration our dearly departed General Roridon has expressed here today, I share it. This false peace masks the ill intent of friends and enemies alike. There shall come a day when we unleash the full might of our forces, who deserve better than endlessly garrisoning the Mountains. However, I demand patience from you all. If there are any others that wish to demand action, then I encourage you do to so with conviction and reason. Do so with insolence and disrespect, and you may join General Roridon's corpse in the castle latrines!"

Good King Oban,

News of the disquiet in your military has reached our Court. Is there a kingdom that has wronged you? May we, your friends, assist you in any way?
We have submitted our orders for this month already, but if you have urgent need, we would intercept and change them.

My friend,

Thanks for your offer, however no kingdom has wronged the Dwarves. That was the problem for General Roridon, whose disdain for peace was well known. He often lamented that the Lords of Alamaze have forgotten how to make war, except our good friend Big Chief No Fart, and that we should take on the mantle of aggressor. Unfortunately, he conveyed his convictions a little too forcefully and forgot his place in my council chambers.

Should any friends of mine initiate hostilities against another kingdom they shall have my support, as the Troll can attest.

Our Star-speakers sought to raise your King's name in the lands, but realized... they don't know it. Their naming shall thus fail, this season...

(I can't use the raise influence spell without the target King's name, it seems)

Our Lords name is SMash (AN had it almost right but I think senility is setting in with those consuls).

I see that you tried to trade with us this turn but I was not aware we had discussed a trade.  Let us know your thoughts, I do not have an urgent need for food this turn so if you can use it you should use it.

If any of you are of a mind to sell your R8 PC's please let us know.  Happy to part with the gold (or food) for some added security.

Great King Stonethrower,

For the sake of diversification, I'd be more than willing to trade my village in Arcania for a village in the north, if you have any interest in that.

Also, have you experienced any more covert annoyances? I had a small matter occur, almost not worth mentioning, but I am curious.

Best,

Hey, Penis Nose, I'm hungry. Want to make a deal for some food now and money later? I would gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today!

WA -> Southern Kingdoms

You would think that an entire Ivory Tower full of mages, researchers, scribes, apprentices, diviners, soothsayers and astrologers would have included SOMEONE who would have let us know the importance of saving some food for WINTER.

Would anyone care to sell/share/trade some of their bounty? Don't need much, maybe 15k/turn? An agreement for the remainder of this harsh and cold winter would be good.

For the above reason, I will not be able to transfer any food to you for the remainder of the winter. I assume this will not be a problem since your harvests are still good at this time of the year.
