Sigh.

One player missed sending in their orders on turn 1. If you're having issues using the new website then let me know. This game and the 2nd beta are on an aggressive schedule M-W-F so you really need to keep up.

If you can, submit your orders as early as possible and definitely don't wait until right before noon to save your orders! The earlier that you submit them, the more time that I have to run sample scenarios to verify that things executing properly before the turn actually runs.

Submitting your orders early is also important because these test games have the chance of locking up the server which means that all of the 2nd Cycle games due that day may not be processed if an error occurs so get those orders in early if you can.

I remember Lord Diamond was good about that during the pre-test game and always submitted orders early which really helped me during the test period.

AN 1st turn report.

Turn went smoothly, only error was my own I issued only 13 orders instead of 14. Recruited a brigade of Zamorans, I like how you get the US info on the military group status, well done. Turn 2 has been submitted.

I got what seems to be a free recon of 4CI this turn.

On order entry, I split a patrol pre-move, but when I try to move the new patrol, it has the capital (where the inactive group was) as the starting point, rather than the group that split off the pre-move patrol.

Yep, transfers for the website haven't been improved yet but hoping to get to them this week. Just go ahead with the transfer order and ignore the web page's display of INACTIVE or other erroneous information for your group.

About that free recon, it's coming from being a flyer where all flying groups receive an automatic L1 recon. I fixed the code where non-flyers were being considered as flying so that problem will go away next turn.

Only problem is that by limiting the square entry options to the ones adjacent to the starting square, it is impossible to enter valid moves for the formerly inactive group.

Ok I set the first dropdown list to be the entire map then switch to min-adjacent lists afterwards for the group moves (710, 715, 720, 725) and magic travel (708, 718).

Love the updated movement interface, showing only available squares.

Error messages when I Verify say: only DE or those with Onyx Amulet can use 351 order, but the order was given only to 2 demon princes.
I entered them on the political tab, and then those orders show up there and in the Other section.
Hopefully, the error messages are incorrect and will not stop the actual orders.

I fixed the 351 issue, problem was a missing space between Demon and Prince and it'll be corrected starting with your turn 2 orders. But I don't know how you're getting the adept transfer error. When I 699 and select Adept (with all other fields assigned as empty), the website populates the adept field correctly as 0.1 so I don't know how you're getting that field to be wrong...please explain what you're doing: selecting the wizard name Adept or wizard level or something else...
Did not notice the adept order error. Just picked Adept on the pull down tab for wizards.

Well, I tracked down that Adept error. The problem was that with order 699 (and the other transfers), the wizard column moved from column F to G (due to adding the brigade training level in the order). Well, column F has a width of 5 characters while G is only 2 so the adept's level of 0.1 wouldn't fit and was being truncated to just "0.". So I changed the code for adepts to be considered as level 0 (no longer 0.1) and it's working now.
