As an idea for you, you could do as another suggested in a different context, and make note of every non-aggression pact signed, and then publicize the information of a likely target, especially for some of the more expansionistic (in your assessment) Kingdoms?

Our king has recently realized that despite his stature his influence pales in comparison to other kings in the realm.  As such he has tasked his court with finding a foreign wizard that can magically aid his efforts to increase his influence.  We are looking to purchase at least two spells (481) over the next two turns.  Let us know if there is a kingdom that can do this in exchange for gold or some other reward.

I do have a spare order and 1 Food.  There is one further clause I would add - if within the next 10 months you do not engage in warfare with at least one other kingdom(excluding myself), I will reveal all I know of your assets to the entirety of Alamaze during the 11th month.  On the other hand, if you do engage in warfare I will compose a lyrical ballad extolling your pummeling prowess.  Consider it an incentive to be all you can be.

Excellent.  I have reviewed all the secret communiques I have obtained and I believe you have no peace agreements with the Dark Elves, the Dwarves, the High Elves and the Rangers.  The locations of Dwarven territories in the Talking Mountains I believe is already known to you.  I have the locations of Dark Elven territories in the Eastern Steppes, and will have the locations of High Elven territories in Oakendell and Ranger territories in Synisvania by the end of this month.  My current thought is to provide you with Dark Elven, High Elven and Ranger territories all at the same time so there remains some question as to who is in for a pounding.

In light of the recent communications between the Great Giant and the Devious Don, I propose that we improve upon our NAP and form a mutual defense pack. While it is true that our military is not as highly developed as that of your esteemed kingdom, we do have many other useful skills, as well as a large amount of knowledge, that could be used to make life in Alamaze quite uncomfortable for any enemy.


I do not believe that His Most Magnanimous Mammoth Majesty plans to invade either of us, but once our information is revealed, perhaps our pact will dissuade others from considering either of our kingdoms an easy target.

My bards have been telling me you are a most noble and trustworthy ruler.  I acknowledge and accept the wisdom of your offer.  I would happily enter into such a NAP and, in fact, strengthen our ties through marriage.  I propose that we have my 2nd son, Prince Lobalt Swordhand, marry one of your daughters.  I further propose that we enter into a formal NAP with the mutual defense pack, and that we stipulate that this NAP/mutual protection can only be ended with 4 full turns notice.

Do you still wish to raid together?  We will not be able to communicate secretly as I'd hoped so if you remain interested I believe the best course would be for one of us to pick a target and start the attack and then inform the other one who will be standing ready.  If you'd prefer to go it alone that is ok too, just let us know.
