Seems similar to naming your emissary AttkGIonT6 and sending that emissary to the ally capital. Seems too private for this public diplomacy game, but just my two cents. It is very clever.

I was thinking exactly as HH. Very clever so did not say anything. But do feel the idea of coded messaging defeats the general idea. i think the line draws where there is no real way for others to verify the same message. Like giving coordinates from a current group location. Other can know that groups location. But I wonder if others would be ok if I were to say lets attack the person with initials 3 squares up from 3GN. Seems also push things. So really where is the actual line drawn.

OOC: Not worked up over it, but I do think it defeats the purpose of this format. For example, if I were to say to attack the PC that is 3 north and 4 west of the place where the 3GN is, there is at least the chance that somebody else could know or figure it out. With this, there is no other way for somebody else to figure it out.
I will say that if I saw one of the code options was 'Attack the TR' - I would simply assume that it was the right one and attack myself. And I would encourage all others on the possible attack list to do the same.

I'm grateful for your kind proposal, however I would strongly prefer to explore the sighting unmolested (you may do the same) and let the cards fall where they may. I think given the location of this sighting this is still a fair offer on my part. Would you agree?
Despite my preference I don't wish to be unyielding given you've come so far from your ancestral home. I can be persuaded to stand down my own group from exploring the unknown for outright ownership of the Demon Dagger (or any other weapon artifact), to be transferred through a trustworthy intermediary at a cost to be paid for by yourself. (Perhaps the gold and gems from your exploration could be used for that purpose?) Given the artifact to be recovered is of very considerable value I think this is a fair (and perhaps cleaner) arrangement.
If we're able to come to terms on this matter I'd be wiling to further our friendship with a pact of non-aggression for a set duration, if that is something that still interests you.

Alas, I'm afraid we cannot agree to that. We view this artifact to be especially, um, precious to our Kingdom, and thus we are determined to possess it.
I am instead willing to agree to your prior proposal, specifically that I race you to obtain it and not cast those pesky fatal spells, but only on the condition that if you win, you will concretely agree now to sell it to me at the end of autumn [i.e. on T16] for a price certain of 25,000 gold, plus whatever premium I need to pay to our selected intermediary, who will probably be the Underworld, but could potentially be another.
If you are agreeable to this, I would also be more than happy to add a non-aggression pact through the end of this year [i.e. end-of-T19], if you so desire.

My scholars have spent much of the past few days reciting passages from the ancient tomes speaking of the fairness and honor of a race to acquire a known artifact in just our present situation. In other words, they have talked me off the ledge of the tower. This particular artifact is important to our magical research, however. If you happen to win the race (almost inconceivable given the prowess of our heroes and wizards) then I would be extremely interested in buying or leasing said artifact for a short period of time. May the best heroes win.

The artifact we are at is the gem of seeing. It allows you to scout three squares a month. Basically a stronger palantir. Likely you can get the artifact but I would not recommend risking your wizards over it.
We agree to only focus on the artifact and not go after your group. Who ever gets lucky
