GKBASS would agree to a mutual defense pact in Arcania lasting through the next Summer Starving Time. We can discuss renewing it then.

Great.  If you can let me know the location of the PC's you know about (not including your town) it would be appreciated.  Perhaps you can give the locations relative to where 2BL is currently?

You already know about the village at RG. I see no need to share the location of the AN town.

From the 2BL's current location

Town 1 S & 2 E
Town 4 E & 1 S
Village 2 W & 1 N
Village 2 W & 3 N
Village 2 N
Village 3 N
Village 5 N & 1 E
Village 3 E & 4 N
Village 6 E

Big Chief No Fart,

We glad we no fight. We like you and someday want to learn how to fight half as good as you. Maybe someday you teach us how to fight!

Until then we pass by town in water. We hear you like water places! From our town in Torvale which maybe you know about by now, the water town is six measures south and five measures west.

Enjoy water town Big Chief!

Lord of the Drow,

As your military advisers will have informed you a Dwarven force is encamped outside your village in the Mountains.

Although my commanders are pleading for the chance to sharpen their skills in addition to their axes I'll offer one last chance for peace. I wish to retain the Town in the Steppes, permanently. I'm amenable to negotiation if that isn't acceptable, however should my diplomatic overtures fall on deaf ears again I'll take the village in addition to preparing a defense of my town.

I leave the matter of war and peace between our kingdoms in your hands.

Small king in the north you have shown that you prefer a swap of pop centers to the peace we had place.  You now must decide if I will only take the town I originally requested or if it will go further.

Let the world of Alamaze be advised the the new king in the north took the first aggressive action and any additional actions will be viewed as a declaration of war.  (normally I would not take any aggressive actions against a newer player until after turn 10 but your attack on the village after stating you wanted to not swap pop centers has negated that protection.  At this time I will only take the town in my region but I will take any additional actions as a declaration of war)

Great King of the Dwarves,

No doubt you have a great deal on your mind, what with the rumblings of war brewing in the north and east, but I hope I can take up a moment of your time.  I have recently been consulting with my scribes and they have informed me of certain strategic opportunities available to my organization that I am inclined to pursue.  Unfortunately, pursuit of those objectives requires a slightly larger amount of territory than I currently possess.  I am therefore looking into options for increasing my territorial assets.

I am contacting you in regards to this matter because I already control a town within the Talking Mountains.  This minimizes the additional amount of territory needed(perhaps just a town, or a town & village) to attain the significant standing I am looking for.  I believe I can make you a very worthy offer for this territory if you are open to such an exchange.

Please let me know your thoughts.

Great Imperator of the Dark Elves,

I have heard whispers of increasing tensions between the Lords of the Forests and the Lords of the Mountains.  Such tidings are unfortunate, but they also create opportunities.  It is to that end that I am contacting you.

My scribes have informed me of certain opportunities that will become available should I obtain significant territory within a region other than Runnimede.  I already possess minor territorial claims within the Talking Mountains.  Should tensions turn to war, there may be some services or information I can provide in exchange for territorial considerations.  Does this opportunity interest you?

I await your response.

Lord of the Dark Elves - You have betrayed me.  As part of an NAP, you should not be status quo'ing the town that was previously yours.  As we discussed, I carved out an exception that should i need the town to take the region, I could have it.  You agreed to that as part of our NAP.  Now you are performing status-quo's resulting in my Countess spending a very short stay in prison.  This is not acceptable.  This hostile action of yours makes me feel that you do not honor our NAP and that in your mind it is in tatters.

It seems there may be a ruler in between us that lacks integrity and honor.  What to be done about this?
