I think the Dark Elf is still pissed over that whole Drizzt becoming a Ranger affair.

Please do not take any of my comments as a personal insult or as a criticism of the game 'Alamaze', which I very much enjoy. Rather, I hope that my personal insight and unique perspective may, in some way, help make 'Alamaze' more fun, a more successful financial venture, or simply more sustainable as a long-term project. Hail King Gnomethrower!

I have found two absolutely lovely towns in Arcania during a group outing to collect rare species of fungi for research purposes.

It's up to you if you want more information on the location of those towns, and how you would like me to try and encode that information so sneaky Gnomes don't hear what we are talking about.

Have a pleasant day!

I am not sure we have a point of mutual reference that is secret.  Do you know where the TR town is in R5?  If so we can work from there as a point of reference.  If not then its best if you just let me know outright.  I also have the location of a couple of towns in Amberland I can give you.

Hail Dark Lord of the Elves,

In fact, we Rangers are beyond reproach with our honor and integrity.  If you kindly recall, we asked for a NAP with the option that should we need the PC in our own region for securing our region, with advance notice we could take it.  I am merely exercising that clause as our early scouting was dismal and we discovered very few PC's.

I should point out that the deal you proposed was unequal in the first place (town for village) but I was happy to accept it in good faith.  Now I see that you have already secured your region - congratulations!  I am struggling to secure mine due to the aforementioned poor scouting efforts.

I must re-iterate that the clause was clearly part of the NAP and I have no intention to break the NAP.  If you feel that I have treated you dishonestly, please refer to our earlier correspondences and I hope that would clarify things.  If you feel that me taking the town which I so badly need is somehow breaking our NAP, please let me know.

Best,
Lord Lothaedus

Hail Mighty Lord of the Shadows!

Based on the extreme deftness and skill exhibited, I assume your agents were behind the masterful stealing of gold from my town.  I applaud you.  Consider the gold a gift with no hard feelings and the hope that we can work together in the future.

Best,

Hail Dragon Lord,

As I was leaving the Southern Sands, I happened across the location of a neutral town.  Please let me know if you would like me to reveal the location.  Normally I would not hesitate to do so, but I know there are others watching our correspondence and did not want to overstep my authority.

Best,
Lord Lothaedus

I dearly need those town locations in R5. My search so far has been optimized to miss as many neutral PCs in the region as possible. Please send location in areas NSEW from your town in R5 which I know the location of.

But I did find your village in R5. As a unilateral act of good faith, knowing that you are already sharing your region with the TR, I will not move against it. I hope that this might lead to something more formal such as a NAP. But that's up to you at this point.

Found your village in R5 as well. Since you are *not* sharing a region with anyone, do you mind if I take it? I need PCs for the reasons stated earlier. If you really want to keep it maybe we can work something out. But I would be ever grateful to have your permission to take it.

Shadow Master,

I am at this point confident that I will take control of Runnimede this upcoming month. I also located a village of yours the month prior, which I believe you began with, unless you happened to take a village with your military in early autumn. So we should hopefully have a semi-confidential frame of reference for map coordinates.

Just inquiring how your own efforts are proceeding, and whether your final holdings in Runnimede will be two towns and three villages?

Finally, I remain ready to assist with marketing for your services, although I confess some disappointment that the Red Mage, at least, opted not to purchase Chlamydia insurance. I also wonder whether the Rangers' assumption is in fact correct, given the apparent hostility he is experiencing from the Dark Elves, who themselves have solid covert resources.

I don't really need to know the answer, I suppose... I am merely musing.

Warmly,
Bottlenose, for the Gnomes

The village you found is up to the giant what is to be done with it. I only ask that I be given a heads up when and how the village will be taken, so I can plan accordingly.
