Sorry, the tool developed for creating games has full diplomacy, partial diplomacy, and anonymous as choices. I picked partial diplomacy, which I thought was appropriate for Magic (team) games. Didn't know it would reveal all positions, as teams are also identified in the setup process.

My honest outside viewpoint as someone who isn't playing in this game is that the newbie team will be significantly handicapped by the revelation of who is playing what Kingdoms.
Not sure if repicking will solve anything since you will already have a sense of who prefers what, maybe a redraft would be more appropriate. Like I said, no dog in this fight, just an honest viewpoint.

I was thinking it would be totally cool if the two "power teams" made a gentleman's agreement to thrash on each other for a while and leave the newbies alone
But realistically that won't be fun for anyone and would not satisfy the goal of learning about the game. I'm good either way. I know that our team is already planning the turn and nobody has complained so I think we all feel the same. Probably just because we don't understand just how screwed we really are.

[/quote] LOL! Yeah... I figure one of the veteran teams will find a way to strip my kingdom bare on the very first turn, setting a new Alamaze record for fastest recorded kingdom demise ever seen. Hmmmm... wonder if anyone has ever used the King Sanctuary order on Turn 1!
