This post is in response to Ry Vor's request about the Turn Parser:
I was going to title this thread 'Banana Map', but then nobody would click on it (at least not without double checking for an NSFW warning).
In case you have not heard, there is a program that you can run which will show you a map of the Alamaze world which updates itself with the location of armies and population centers from your latest turn results automagically. All you have to do is click on one of the links that are posted on the Alamaze Order Entry and Validation page to get it. Just download it and run it. Super simple!

When you get your turn results for one of your games in an email from Alamaze Support, just save the attached html file to your favorite folder. Then, to see the updates on your map, all you have to do is select File->Parse... and navigate to the turn you just saved. Tada! Your map now has little, colored, circles and squares on it to represent the villages and towns that showed up in your turn results. Isn't that great?! There are even these weird, little symbols that look like a crecent-moon being stretched sideways. Those are military groups.
If that is not useful enough, you can save that information for later by selecting File->Save. When you get your next turn results, just load up that file again (via File->Open) and repeat what you did earlier to see what happened on this latest turn.
Quote:I'd like Bananas to start a new thread that I can make stick in the Rules and Resources section with everything players need to use the tool, and that it is either the final version, or the version updates automatically with Uncle Mike's help on how to format it. I would like all players to easily be able to use it.
