The Manual Entry dialog box? Look under the Map menu. When you select it, you should get another window pop up.

There is only one dialog; it let's you do Pop Centers, Emissaries, and Groups. The Radio button on the left lets you select which type of thing you are adding. All of those types have an area(location), an owner(kingdom abbreviation), and a name. The name is optional. The last part of the entry is me being lazy. You can enter anything you want there; however, based on which radio button you have cllicked at the time, may or may not be allowable.

For example, if you are entering a population center, you need to enter the Type of population center (City, Town, Village). If it is an emissary, you need to enter it's rank. For a group, you can enter its size. The size is not checked, so you can enter numbers or the standard brigade, division, etc. But since it is not checked, you can enter anything you want there, like 'huge", "way too many", or "yikes!"

WARLORDS AND TITANS REJOICE!

The latest release of the Bananas Parser is now friendlier to multi-kingdom formats. Now you can see the regional reactions based on whichever kingdom you want. Plus the emmy tool reflects whichever kingdom you want as well. (though we all know my emmy chances do not factor in all the cool things that FrostLord's spreadsheet does; but they are good for initial/ballpark estimates).
  • Updated so it can understand more than one kingdom at a time. For example, if you are playing a warlords format, you can parse the turns from all of your kingdoms and then switch between the kingdoms to see regional reactions and other kingdom-centric reports. Also, the Emissary Tool now shows the emissaries, influence, and reaction levels of the kingdom you selected.
  • Changing the kingdom is accomplished via the Change Kingdom option on the Map menu.
  • You can tell which kingdom you are by looking at the big green bar above the map.
  • Note that region and influence information is based on the latest turn. What this means is that if you have parsed turn 4 for most of your kingdoms but not all of them, then the ones whose latest information is only for turn 3 will appear to have no regional reactions and no emissaries. Just parse turn 4 for that kingdom and they will all magically come back.
  • The map menu also has Zoom In and Zoom Out items which let you switch between the big map and the small map. The functionality has always been there, but now you do not have to remember Control+UpArrow and Control+DownArrow.
  • Removed the report buttons on the far right of the GUI. Those reports can  now be accessed via the Reports menu.
  • You should never need to run the fixRegion option off of the map menu.  I'm happy with that logic so now it runs whenever you load/parse results.

By the way.. you will not be able to see the effects of switching kingdom perspectives for an existing saved game until you have parsed one new turn for each kingdom you control in that game. Why? Because the 'extra' data was being thrown away. OR, if you are not many turns into a game, you could re-parse all the existing turns. I just don't want anyone firing up 1.8.0, loading an existing saved game, and expecting to be able to see good things when they switch kingdoms. That isn't going to happen. Only newly parsed turns have the extra info needed.

I'm having problems saving a parsed turn. Is it suppose to be saved in same directory as program?

Issue a "saved as". And put it anywhere you like.

Be sure to close your current item your working on before opening a new one.

Yes and no.
Yes, when you first open the save/save-as/open dialog, it starts out in the same directory as the program. But you do not have to save your file there. Just like any other program, the first time you go to save a file, it will bring up a dialog and you can navigate to where ever you want. Other than that, when you load a saved game, it will save to that same file. Note that if you were running the windows binary (instead of the script), you would definitely want to save somewhere else. Why? Because *that* binary is running in a temporary directory that gets deleted when the program exits. But I thought you had gotten the ruby script running, so you should not be having that problem.

The picture below covers the case I'm talking about with the windows program: parserGUI-1.8.0.exe

Wow, 24 downloads so far for 1.8.0 with 17 of them being yesterday! I hope that means more people are trying it out. Bintray (the place hosting the binaries) does not keep stats beyond thirty days, so I cannot be sure, but I think that may be the most downloads for any one version so far. I hope it is living up to your expectations. Please, let me know all of its shortcomings.
