So, not overly pleased with the results here. Because the turn was reran (albeit inadvertently) I had an emissary incarcerated on turn 2 that I was unable to do anything about. Very frustrating. In my new turn, I see the following: In Memorium
Emissaries No Longer at Court Title Name Turn Lost Duke Legit 2 This sounds like he was executed and not incarcerated. Can someone explain?

I found the line in the report that states he is a prisoner. Not my first rerun in a game that doesn't go my way. So, I guess I have no questions at this time.

Game 167 turn 3 was reran with the corrected version. Use the last email that you received for your turn (around 6:30pm EST).

Congrats BL on the region. I thought I would have mine as well but seems I got two terrible villages that were just enough to loose it for me. Now I get to wait at least a couple turn as I was pretty sure I would get the region. Maybe I can grab two at the same time
![]() When I say terrible villages I mean the census is bad. One was 10k the other 11k. I had 2 cities 2 towns and 3 villages. With both cities and my capital this would normally be enough census. Good thing is it also means it is a nice region with lots of PCs.

Uncle Mike, thanks. I hope I didn't sound too displeased. I usually don't express myself well in text. The turn was excellent and I am happy that I don't seem to find errors in my plans. The order checker is amazing and I wish this kind of thing was available in all my PBeM ventures
As to the BL taking the region, wow! I need to reevaluate my strategy as I thought I was moving quick on the region. Good job!!
Okay...
Way back when i asked a question about cities being neutral. The answer was they are controlled by humans and I need to rebel them and then flip them. this turn I tried to rebel a town... turn said town was already neutral. So... did I err by asking about cities when i should have said PCs? If the description says neutral in the report... they are neutral?

Only cities and explicitly player-controlled PC's start a game controlled. All other towns and villages start neutral.

When you say city most if not all will automatically think your being specific to only cities and not towns or villages. On another note I hope everyone is getting what they need out of this game. My inbox has been rather quite for this game actually very quite. I am fully here to help you guys and really only going through the motions with my own kingdom to keep some balance on the map. Around turn 10 If none have started fighting i will likely 240 all my PCs in Amberland to help encourage you guys to smash into each other. This is the perfect time to bounce ideas off me and I can tell you the likely outcome or point out something perhaps you did not factor into your plans.

Lol. I realize now that 'city' actually means city. Didn't know enough to ask the right question.
Speaking for myself... I am getting exactly what I need. A chance to learn commands and rules without having to fend off guys who have been playing for years. I am probably two turns off of claiming my region... but I learned a few things on the way. Only question I have at the moment now is can a single gnome brigade and lvl 1 wizard take a 'easy' level encounter. |
