Game Processing News
We processed Titans 222, Warlords 26, 28 and 30 and T1 for Warlords 31.  We had a request to hold Warlords 25 until the evening.

Monday we ran 150, 159, 160, 161, and 162.

Today we ran 152, 153, 154, 155, 156, and 157.

Reminder the initial turn is due for #163 Wed, as are most Warlords games.

The Sten overcame Beatific in Titans #222.  This is the first time in some time no Titan games are ongoing.

Wednesday we processed Warlords 25, 26, 30 and 31.  We have held off on processing Warlords #28, the Championship, as we are missing a player.  This is about the last time we can do something like this.   I've decided not to expound on that subject.

Today I created the new Magic Anonymous game, and a new Titans game between The Sten and Head Honcho.

The next game in the queue is an Anonymous Steel, 12 player game.  After that, or maybe during that queuing, will be a Full Steel (15 player, full diplomacy game).

We also processed the Warlords Championship of 2014, #28. In that game, on turn 11, the Giant controls two regions, seven other kingdoms control one region, and Synisvania is currently uncontrolled.

We ran 150 (turn 26), 159, 160, 161, and 162.

That's actually a fairly light day, maybe 60 turns processed. We've been using the web based order for a few months, so let's say 60 days times 60 turns or 3600 turns processed that way. We've had, I would guess, 4 or 5 turns missed where a player really believes he did "Submit" orders, but did not. Happened to a player today. Yes, it completely stinks to miss a turn. We don't want it to ever happen. Maybe we move the location of the submit button a bit higher. As people have noted, the order checker is really an amazing tool, and again I recommend you validate frequently during your turn to expedite your turn creation, for example, seeing how much gold and food remains, how many orders you have left, not to mention any mistakes that could lead to other mistakes. THEN, I suggest you Submit your orders when you have your core orders in. Then, load your orders again and keep going. When you are done and have submitted again, it takes only a couple seconds to load the orders you submitted, get assurance, yes, they are all there, and then clear and input your next game. We also started a warning email to alert players that we have nothing from you in game XY and there are only 12 hours left. Long worded, point being, we are doing all we can to not have players miss a turn, or even make a mistake on an order, and of course, to turn them back to you with new results the same day.

Today we processed 152, 153, 154, 155, 156, 157, 163, and 164.

Again, players are reminded to SUBMIT their turns, not just verify.

Today we processed 150 (on turn 28 now), 159, 160, 161, and 162 (turn 4).

We are discussing whether the forming Steel Anonymous game should be Pagan: no high priestess the entire game.

Today we processed Warlords games 25 (now on turn 27), Warlords 26, Warlords 28 (the 2014 Championship game), Warlords 30, and Warlords 31 on turn 3.  Also the first turn of the new Titans Game between The Sten and Head Honcho.

Today we created a private Primeval game where the objective is to recover and possess the most artifacts by the end of T24.

On another note, we continue to get requests to "look at this for me".  We are not priced that way. Assume it costs the company at least $50 to do anything like that.  If you think there is a bug, we need you to give all the specifics.  Don't forward your turn.  State exactly what you think is wrong - all specifics kingdom, turn, group or emissary, what the order was and what happened and what you think should have happened and exactly what you think is wrong with the code and why.  We just don't don't have hours to spend not moving the enterprise forward to go on hunts.  We can't "look into this, it doesn't seem right."

Today we set up #166 - the first official game on the new platform, also the first try at a Pagan game - no High Priestess throughout the game.

Today we processed #150 (turn 28), #159, #160, #161 and #162.
