Will ESO be ready? That's the change I am most interested in. Unless the gnome is going get Hog Riders or something. I would love to transfer HOs from group to group

I just received my setup/turn 0 for game 146, and it says in the back to "enter your selections for our Early Strategic Objectives with your first set of orers (sic) on turn 1, this is our only chance to pick these choices for this campaign."
However, in the setup, I have an ESO already assigned.
Me confused.

All players in this game will be selecting their ESO on turn 1, so don't submit turns early until we get this squared away one way or the other. Worst case is use the instructions posted on this forum for the new ESO model.
I saw the turns were going out without the new text for ESO, but I felt players would rather have the turns than wait until we can fix that issue. Also, there was some TV event....
Well, there is text reminding players to submit their ESO selections with their turn 1 orders, it's just above the section that will list the previous turn's orders. This section should be providing ESO information on all game results for turns prior to turn 16, with info on custom ESO or the previous ESO model.

Do we want to move this to active games and all share contact information?

The shadow brotherhood of the Underworld can be reached at pbm.dog@gmail.com - which, incidentally, is also where you can send your 1-2 page articles on Alamaze for publication in Suspense & Decision!

On balance I think this will be generally true (and by a lot). Personally I think the rewards could be beefed up a little given the challenges. But maybe the ESO rewards have been intentionally downgraded from the past offerings.

I created an active game thread. Please move contact information over to it.
For the ESO I see it as better even if you had better reward ratio. You now get to choose based on your needs on turn 10 or 15. Seeing how you could get 3 wizards from your ESO I do not see much better that could be done on a rewards ratio.
