I was curious. Can one issue multiple 170/171's on a turn to increase the chances that the PC will be taken?

Since there's been no response, let me clarify.
Let's say I have a group outside a town with two wizards capable of casting Diplomacy (#171). I don't see anything in the rules that limits me to one attempt. Can I cast #171 two times so that in case the first one fails the second one might succeed? An addendum question is could I do a normal diplomacy (#170) followed by my two #171's? Can I do multiple #170's followed by multiple #171's?
Thanks!

While I've never tried it, I don't see any reason why it would fail. It makes complete sense to me.
There would be no reason to do this, there is no random element to 170/171

Thanks Cipher! Very interesting!
So, since there is no random element, can you share what the formula is? For example, in my experience a power 3 wizard with 3 brigades will successfully #171 a friendly city. How many brigades would it take for wizards of different power levels to take a friendly city? What about towns? In short, is a chart or formula you could share?
Thanks!

If that document is out there, I'd like to see it as well (since I'm playing the WA in the new 113 game)! I have a general, but formulae are always appealing.

yikes, so the players with data will share the info with each other and have even that much more info than the newbs?
