Hi guys,
How exactly does one go about changing the king's name? Do I just input the new name on the Turn 1 Order spreadsheet?
Thanks!

Follow-up question. What if the name I want already shares the same first two letters as another emissary. In this case, are you out of luck, or can you change your King's name which then would also require changing the other emissary's name as well?

In the past, I've been able to change the entire emissary roster. Assuming Cipher is still cool with this, you should be able to change everyone.

Mostly the name changes are cool, but sometimes I do raise an eyebrow or shake my head.
I am of two minds on changing beyond the King's name, I like it as a flavor addition and player ownership/customization service, but I have to admit my first response is 'ugh' due to having to actually make the changes. A few aren't that big of a deal, but there is the possibility of every emmie changing names as is, so scalability is the issue.

I wish there was an automatic way to change the names of all the people. I only did it in my first game because it had been so long since I played and I really wanted to customize my kingdom. Since then, I have only changed the King's name because I feel bad about making Cipher do the work. But I do get tired of having people name Ghaza, though. And if I ever play the WI again, I want to see if I can change the name of the power 4 wizard to Ry Bread.
