This was a weak pick at 5 IMO- It's a good Region economically but after having numerous battles with the BL I find the kingdom surprisingly weak.
I'm about to stomp Frost in 100 (little does he know) and I think I will have easily destroyed 100 BL brigades (+ wyverns or whatever they're called now) since the new inception of Alamaze - counting all of my games.

I like the Troll better than the UN selection- Of course you have to compensate geographically but I think Will should take this one easily- GI/RD combo should swing it. Too much mobility will stifle the SO.
SO/UN/WI will be pressed and Thanatos gets blown out IMO, even though he's a good player.

I'll make an open challenge to ANYBODY this same variant, including Cipher, and when some poor schmoe takes me up on it upgrade or whatever I need to do. Not Will or Thanatos though as they're occupied. I'll take on the winner of that match after I soundly defeat whoever...

I think you should make an exhaustive list of 'personalities who think they are better than they are' so they will know that they've been challenged. What if someone out there is waiting to take you up on it but didn't know you had called them out?

How would I know if I think I am better than I am? This is my first Alamaze game since the 90's and I have never won one. I think Kalrex is annoyed because I don't really think he's the God of Alamaze and I didn't beg to be his worshipful vassal.

I think he means that the thought of playing you makes him pee himself a little, but he'd be willing to consider it. I think you should teach him how to play nice with others.
