Removing Standing Orders
#1
Lets say this order was issued to establish a standing order and it worked.

60 971 MO 1TR 4

which shows this in your standing orders a few turns and works.

971 MO 1TR 4

Then you want to remove the standing order

50 971 MO 1TR 4

but it doesn't work for 2 turns.

What am I doing wrong?

A better question, actually, is has anyone had success with order 50? I'd like to validate its been ok, as wanderer's example certainly seems correct...

I had issued standing orders in game 100 and cancelled them without an issue. It was raise agent and build fleets.

Same here. No issues. Train agent, increase influence, HC issue bid, etc. All started and stopped with no issues.

I have a similar problem. I sent it in for consideration, but haven't heard any thing back about it. I had a prison guard on standing orders, but everyone escaped anyway. He is just a stubborn incompetent who doesn't know when to quit.

Lucky Tiger, I had some issues with escaping prisoners as well, so wouldn't mind this getting looked at. As the UN, I had two fanatic 4s on guard duty, which should make the prison pretty darn secure. Had escapes back to back turns.

By Guard duty you mean counter-espionage? Because the description of the order says that if the counter espionage fails the agent on CE is disposed of. Shouldn't your F-4's have been killed after the first escape?

Maybe it is because they escaped, rather than were rescued.

Jumbie, honestly don't know the answer, but I'd be curious to get Rick's and/or Cipher's take.

I have the same issue in 104. It looked right to me but the order is still in place.
