Agents getting captured on reconnaissance.
#1
The order description says that as of 2nd cycle, level 1 agents have a 5% chance of being captured on recon missions (increased by agents on counter-espionage)

Does this apply all the time or only if the recon is of a PC or group? It seems strange that an agent should be captured on recon of an empty patch of swamp.

Also, who does the capturing?

I've heard of it happening before. The Alamaze gods have to be really unhappy with you to fire off that 5% chance. Fot the most part, you can recon empty swampland all you want and not have to worry too much about capture.

LOL, the turn results was not descriptive enough. If you upgrade to Imperator level, the turn results would read something like this:

while the agent (named xyz) was checking out the swamp, he got distracted by a cute lady taking a mud bath, and he did not notice an alligator was getting too close. When he saw the alligator, it was too late, he had to fight his way out of the swamp, he lost an arm and a leg, but managed to get away from the alligator. Just when he felt he was finally safe (with a serious wound), he got captured by a beautiful Carnivorous plant near the swamp.

Yeah, but Gurisek's a PC. I can understand the local Police detaining a suspicious looking tourist who keeps asking about who's staying in the northwestern tower of the palace.

Empty land, same 5%?

That farmer didn't appreciate you prowling around his barn. He thought you were after his daughter. "Before he died, he protested that he was an Underworld agent, and didn't like girls, anyway!"

Figure the Agent isn't just in that one square necessarily. An Agent might move through up to 10 squares- Then s/he has to go back to his base and report.

So, when an agent gets captured in a neutral area, he isn't thrown in any king's dungeon? He's basically killed?

What happens when an agent gets captured in a PC you control? I read a Oracle article that said that could happen. Does that agent end up in your own capital's dungeon?

Agents get killed unless they're captured in a battle. This has been my experience.
