Game 128 - Steel Resurgent
#81
They said there was a problem with #122 but they must have meant #128. Game #122 is a completed game.

The war goes on, despite the RD's clumsy attempt to bring it to a close. Seems that he was counting on keeping Torvale but a pesky dome over Meridon might have scotched that plan. Also, finding two of his wizards cold with a knife in their ribs probably wasn't something he wanted to see. And now there is no hope of him reganing Torvale anytime soon - three of his towns face huge armies (should have been four, but the pathfinder of the 2TR got drunk off of stolen Gnomish wine).
Right now, the DA seems to be in the strongest position with two regions. Having not been directly involved in the big war, he might be in a position to sneak up the middle and claim the victory. I hope not, actually - this game is a really good one and I am looking forward to everybody continuing to fight like mad!

After 15 turns of stumbling around, a larger Black dragon group has finally tracked down my group. While he has better wizards, I was surprised to see some good leaders after losing so many attacking my pop centers. My thanks to the RD for allowing us at least one more turn for a final showdown.

(RD) Yes, we certainly do have a vermin problem in Torvale. All four groups of smelly, rotting trolls are leaving body parts everywhere. It's enough to spoil even a dragon's digestion. Ah well, at least we are blessed with portable incinerators. Our new motto: Cadavera putrida erit exesus.

(RD) When one serves an entree under a dome, one usually lifts the dome so that the diner can feast. We give the troll's restaurant no stars for service and have been unable to evaluate the cuisine. Wink

(TR) Now, having re-established control over Torvale, we have the odious task of cleaning up piles of dragon dung. The unlucky Orcs who have been given this job have noticed a large number of worms crawling out of the wrym poop. It seems that the dragons are rotting on the inside.
In other news, an off-season game of Gnomeball was played with the dead bodies of two hapless Gnome wizards who got caught visiting a sleazy brothel outside of Windamon that is noted for the high percentage of employees inflicted with venereal disease.

(RD) Everyone knows dragon dung spontaneously combusts. Your witless slaves are probably running across their own droppings.

Congrats to Cloud on the Win!!! I think anyone that has worked with Cloud knew he would be on the podium soon, to win your first game on turn 20+. Excellent Job.

Well played Cloud. Really enjoyed my first game, dispite making so many mistakes, but that's what learning the game is about.

Now what to play next?

(RD)Congratulations to a reliable ally and an excellent player! You rock!
