Allies had been declared turns ago and so that probably should have been addressed earlier. If we want to institute that sending someone gold is disallowed from this point forward that may be a decent compromise. Obviously it didn't occur to me that this was disallowed or I would not have done it. I can forfeit the DA HC seat as a penalty for having done so. Does that sound ok?

It is what it is; not sure there needs to be any penalties, I'll just roll with it. But I think perhaps we (the Forum community) need to get in a better habit of defining rules up front when games start so its more clear for all players. Perhaps with the new program, it will allow rules to be selected and printed on the turn sheets.
