Agreed on all counts. It is only right and proper and just that your people rule your historical homeland of Torvale. Indeed, you have showed remarkable restraint thus far in allowing the uncivilized ones to hold sway, but we understand well the importance and value of peace.
Would it be possible for one of the towns you take to be the Troll capital? No need to disclose details, just asking about feasibility so that we can plan more intelligently. One point of information that may interest you, prior to this past month's building of ships, the Trolls were reduced to a measly pair of barges, after their failed engagement with the glorious Gnomish Navy under the command of our brilliant Admiral Mucosa.
I imagine a total of two towns (or their village equivalents, or a combination thereof) would be sufficient to tip the balance, but please let me know if your calculations differ. If I could ask you to recon any population center you move to, that would be helpful to both of us, I suspect.
Let us look forward to declaring each other Allies for the remainder of the struggle, and the Troll as an Enemy, within, say, the next two months? We also look forward to hosting your Consul, but perhaps not until the month after this upcoming one, as he would be blocked at the moment, until word of our Alliance fully spreads throughout all of our Kingdom.

Should you have any concerns whatsoever that we may turn against you, we are happy to offer you a non-aggression pact. But we honestly hope that prospect has not even crossed your mind, as it has not with us.

The Rangers greatly desire to join you in this conflict against the wretched Trolls, however, we fear that we are too far to the East to assist much. Plus, the Giant seems to always be saber rattling against us. Perhaps a year ago he was suggesting to the Black Dragons (our esteemed partners) that they should perhaps go on the offensive. Obviously, the giants had me in mind. Subsequent to that the Giants have denigrated me in their region multiple times which, as we know, is often a precursor for them taking hostile action against me. And most lately the Giant is accusing me of using agents against them which is obviously another attempt to rally people against me.
Due to this hostile posturing of the Giant, I fear to go on a crusade that would take me so far from home. I will, of course, be rooting for your triumphant success against your low-brow enemy.

Your Majesties,
I now realize -- somewhat belatedly -- that I should have informed you that I recently moved a couple of agents into population centers that you own. The reason is sheerly positioning, they are not at all targeted at you, nor will they be, and I'm happy to commit to that (although my existing non-aggression pact with the Dark Elves would already cover any such contingencies).
The reason I ask is that one of my agents was unsuccessfully targeted for assassination this past month. It would actually comfort me to know that it was one of you -- presumably the Red Warlock, again for the reason of the non-aggression pact -- and I would take no offense at all, if so.
In any such case, however, please let me know if I should Ward and move on, or if they may remain. And if the Red Warlock would like a formal non-aggression pact to confirm my goodwill, I am more than willing to do so... but no pressure at all.

After our recent détente, we have put all thoughts aside of taking action against you or any gnomish entities. Wasn't us!
Interestingly though, our kingdom had no reports of agent activity this past month. So whomever has been sneaking around in Amberland must have decided to annoy someone else for a change. I actually have a pretty good idea who it was at this point, but still gathering evidence.
A non-aggression pact with the lovely Gnomes would be appreciated. 10 turns good for you? And if you happen to gather any more clues on the sneaky ones be sure to let me know!

First, welcome back to the Onyx Court. In respect to your wise king, we agreed to continue to receive you. We expect that you will no longer encourage larceny and violence against our kingdom.
Next, we have not now or ever taken any action against the Gnomes.
Finally, we have no objection to your agent taking up residence in one of our villages (The Imperator glowers at his security chief, who should have known of the relocation, but did not). The Gnomes are honorable and we have a NAP through turn 25 in place.
We would close by wishing your king all the best, but as we aren't sure yet which side, if any, of his new war we will join, let us instead wish him health and wealth.
