To be fair. If this is Bearlords first game, should he get the second pick of kingdoms?

In the past we have softened the disadvantage of having the 11th and 12th picks by letting those individuals know which kingdoms are available. After the top 10 are assigned, Atuan would tell the 11th pick which kingdoms are available and then tell the 12th pick the final two kingdoms that are available. Is everyone, including Atuan, ok with this approach?

I dont have an issue with your suggestion. I do remember HH mentioning something about this practice not being needed any more as all zones will be filled where before you could have a choice of 5 kingdoms.

IN the current games the person picking 11th would have four choices but the 12th pick would only have two choices.  The advantage to the 11th pick is almost the same as before the choosing.  The 12th pick only really gains by not having to submit 12 kingdoms.

I didn't play in 2nd cycle but I believe the difference was, you could have a region not being taken where someone wouldn't take the WA or the GI. But having that knowledge would change that. In 3rd cycle that isn't going to happen. That being said I dont care and if the people vote to have me inform the 11th and 12 picks of their options. I would be happy to do so.
