My daughter Caitlin I may have mentioned is at the World Cup and had tickets today. She was on ESPN's global coverage right at the end of the game when they showed the crowd after Dempsey's miss in the 93rd minute and the Daily News snapped this shot earlier:

VBM has an avatar! Well, this is the third time she has been in a "Hottest (x)". The other two were Bleacher reports, also as a fan.

But she was team captain of Maryland's Women Soccer when they got their only ACC Championship, and only #1 NCAA seed, and was #6 in NCAA D1 (over 300 colleges in women's soccer) assists that year. The one I like best was she was ACC Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

She's getting married to the dude in the picture (Maryland soccer captain for the men) August 29 this year in Chicago, so we will likely have a week off from processing.
