LOL, I definitely understand not letting Alamaze interfere with our work.  It is sleep you should be sacrificing, of course.

This is how it was presented: 
No ally declarations and No HC issues to favor another player. 

So I would think open ballots are okay.

The point is to avoid people making allies and comunicating which having open ballots do. There used to be a big long list saying exactly what that meant. I was being lazy but yes secret was intended as was no naming emmies things to promote communication.
So both are right. VBall played when all this stuff came about so read between the lines and you are correct it was not specifically not allowed.

I guess we should vote for clarity going forward.
