I'm gonna post this here so as not to clog up your valhala write-up with garbage no one wants to read from the last-place finisher.
It may have been apparent that I played the WA, in the Diamond coast, again, right after starting game 5384. There were a couple of things I wanted to try with the WA, that I could not do all at the same time in one game.
One was trolls instead of specters, and while trolls are very cool, I like specters better for small groups. Trolls, it seems are most influential contributing their 30% bonus to a very large group.
ESO and customization spent on things other than more wizards... 10 wizards were fun, but orders were often short. I thought maybe spending ESO on something else might be better... as it turns out, not even a little bit. The more wizards the better... moar wizards!!!
To get out into the world sooner, I skimped on my capitol, and my wizards, raising them only to 4 instead of 5. I also spread my development out, raising politicals and agents.... also, not my style. In the future I will focus my development efforts on wizards rather than try to build a well-rounded WA.
For me, this game was a very good lesson in what not to do with the WA.
