Enigma Encounters - I know much of it depends of the tatics used. But what about spells, should I cast any?

No spells. Don't bother investigating it with a wizard with 139 either. Just choose the TAC that you would think would succeed and you'll get the item however the dimensional portals and Fire of the Void don't require a successful TAC selection.

I would recommend using TAC 2 vs enigma encounters. If you fail it will tell you that you were to agressive or not bold enough. This tells you to try again with tac 1 or TAC 3

What does it means "Holding For Player" in place of the Persona name in the Ready page?

Someone dropped the position.  It may be open for a standby player or the position will likely be eliminated the next time a turn is processed.

So when a player drops, his groups and emmys disappear. When? What happens to PCs under his control?

PCs become human controlled.  Artifacts goto the group or PC in the same area as the artifacts.

Siege: Group A successfully siege a PC for 2 turns. The PC owner moves his group B to the area. Does group A can order only siege against PC, or group A needs to attack group B?

Suppose group B orders defense against group A and group A only orders Siege PC (risking to be surprised), so no combat between groups happens. Does the Siege succeed?

The manual is unclear, in 1 part it says that: Groups that are attacking a population center which has a larger than patrol size group(s) of the same kingdom that controls the PC must “drive off”, i.e., force to retreat, those groups or the attack on the PC will not be executed. This is true for an attempt to parley, threaten, use diplomacy or siege the PC as well.

In another part: A group cannot siege if it has defended against another group or retreated from combat.

There is a thread somewhere that clarifies this. I think you have to make the pop center's group retreat. It used to be as long as you did not retreat. I think that was changed to actually make you chase away the defending troops.
