You can battle if you like but nothing's changed in that area except for the effects of forged items and the great mage tower. What I need tested is fortifications. I know from my own testing that fortifications will increase the pc defense and such but I would like to see this tested by others. I need players to build the different types of fortifications, not build armies to fight each other which really isn't necessary. Once we have fortifications further tested then just about everything will have been verified and we can conclude this test and start a real Maelstrom game.

Okay. I was just hoping to see the benefits of the new troop types. To get defenses will take awhile at my production base and I have been trying to build my resources

I am at pretty good production at 45k food and 99k gold. Will be testing the Ally/Loyal this turn. Have built Bazaar, Granary, Forum, Temple, Port at my Coastal capital. Will start building defense buildings this turn. Zamora is the smallest region by total squares, but with early economic development, I could make a run for this map.

I’ve found 5 US in my region two quest. All but 4 squares fully recon’ed. FYI I can see a CI/WA/DU patrols on regional reports, which is cool.

You should not see any DU patrols as I should not have any there. I had a Brigade there but ported out last turn.
