I ask because my Prince with high influence was unable to prevent a Warlock Duke (also with high influence, I'm sure) from 330'ing a neutral town in a region where he's Friendly. Might have just been the dice, but I thought I would ask, because I vaguely recall a reference to dividing by reaction level, or something like that.
Yes both are adjusted by regional reaction level. Friendly is the full amount that you were used to back in 2nd Cycle, less for the others correspondingly.

EL -
I claimed my ESO on turn 10. Control of region, 2 power 4 wizards, Influence of 17+ & 2 princes for a major ESO and chose to receive 2 Barons, 2 points of influence going from 20 to 22 and 20k gold as I was pushing a wizard. The smaller, more crowded regions make it harder to turtle and I think strategy will be much different from 2nd to 3rd cycle. The new Temple / Noble Maiden / priestess caught me off guard and pushed back my plans as I was not prepared for the 3 turn delay but the mechanic itself is pretty swift. I can say I was a bit disappointed that one of my fine encounters ended up being 20k gold, I liked the gold just was prepared to get something shiny! I do wish that the Elf had a few more choices related to exotic troop recruits. Maybe even a Marshall/Elite elf brigade combo, so hard to achieve but rewarding.

Since I wasn't sure about how the changes for 3rd Cycle would impact things, I went for a Minor ESO. I picked Substantial in a region(wasn't sure how easy it would be to get regional control), have 3+Dukes, Own 2 or more artifacts, and have at least 2 Wizards P4 or higher.
I won't be getting my ESO - SA's attack on Arcania has left me with less than a substantial presence, and the repeated sacking of my capital has made 3+ dukes an impossible task.(Insufficient influence & lack of non-imprisoned emissaries). I think this is more due to how I approached this beta than anything else. Due to the central position of Arcania, RA does need to prepare to repel attacks, which I didn't really do. If it hadn't been for the repeated sacking of my capital, I probably would have made the ESO. Not sure if the successful prediction of where my capital would relocate was just luck, the proven skill of JF, or related to various 3rd Cycle changes(such as fewer PCs).

Turn 14 sent out around 3:15pm EST.
The program ran into a problem with the Glyph of Protection counter-agent (who Drogo as the Lizard King received with his customization order back on turn 1). Since the Lizard Men kingdom no longer exists (missed 3 turns), the glyph still remained at the pc (which is correct, those glyphs are permanent) but the code was trying to reference the dead Lizard's data when someone did an agent action on that pc.
The problem is now fixed but took a while to track down due to its complexity. Glad Drogo chose the Glyph to test this intricate scenario.

I did notice one oddity with the new order entry system. Twice now I've had a completed political order disappear when I go to the Summary tab. It happens intermittently and I haven't been able to consistently reproduce the occurrence. It seems to be the last political order I enter that can be affected.
Make sure that you're fully completing the order. If the page doesn't redraw itself by displaying your actions in numerical order (which happens after it accepts the action) then it's waiting for you to complete the order. If you switch to another menu then that last order may be missed because it's incomplete. If you haven't done so already, read step #8: http://kingdomsofarcania.net/forum/showt...9#pid32189
The page does redraw itself and displays the action as accepted, which is what makes this weird. And intermittent errors are really irritating - we may need chalk this up to "Thudargh's hallucinating again" until and unless I can figure out how to reproduce the error.
Okay, I've been able to reproduce it.
Step 1: Enter a political order.(In this case, I entered four escape orders, two for my king and two for my count)
Step 2: Page redraws showing the accepted order in the list at the top of the page. It also shows on the Summary page.
Step 3: Enter another order on a non-Political the Covert tab.(In this case, I went to the Covert tab and entered an escape order for an agent)
Step 4: One of the previously accepted political orders is now gone on both the Summary tab and the Political tab.
I did this several times and it happened consistently. The key appears to be entering orders on a non-political the Covert tab.
***EDIT - It's not entering an order on any other tab, it's entering one on the Covert tab.***
This issue of accidentally removing shared orders (350,385) between the Political and Covert menus has been fixed so let me know if you encounter it again.
I'm also making other changes to the new website over the weekend and have already added Ancient One Consuls to the Divine menu (to allow divination orders) and I'm in the process of reducing the sizes of the dropdown lists to be more appropriate.
The Political menu has been updated to display actions based on emissary rank so each figure now has their own personal dropdown list. So rulers (king, queen, regent, consul) should only see King Actions, demon prince(ss) should only see their special commands like gating or skeletons, non-prince emissaries should see order 390 (receive new title) but not prince(ss) since they are already at the maximum rank, ...etc.
Let me know if I missed an order/action that should/shouldn't be associated with the figure. I'll update the other menu pages as well but I want your feedback on the Political page. Do you like the shorter action lists based on figure type or do you prefer the full range of actions to scroll thru?

I ran into a sort of issue in 2nd cycle and think it could cause a problem here.
If a group has two wizards of same level and transfers a ring to the group 701. Then wants to teleport which wizard to use? In 2nd cycle I did not use either wizard because I did not know who would get the ring and teleporting was a priority.
Is there a way to know who will get the ring? First wizard listed or alphabet by name?
